Version 1 joins Anthropic's Claude partner network

Version 1 has been named a Preferred Services Partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network, making it one of the first organisations in Europe to receive the status.

The recognition places the Irish-founded technology services company among a small initial group approved to help customers deploy Anthropic's Claude models in live environments.

The status reflects Version 1's work in enterprise AI deployments, particularly in regulated industries including financial services, government and healthcare. It also covers the company's investment in Claude-related training and delivery, including work around Claude Code and Claude Cowork.

Version 1 has set up a dedicated practice for Claude adoption, backed by Forward Deployed Engineers and an Applied AI team. Those engineers are embedded within client organisations, while the Applied AI unit focuses on moving projects from evaluation into production use.

Version 1 has been deploying generative AI systems for more than three years and has worked with more than 100 clients globally. It said that base has been strengthened by its acquisition of CreateFuture, which it described as adding to its Forward Deployed Engineer practice and domain knowledge.

Its combined expertise now spans sectors including iGaming, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and the public sector. The company said this work is intended to support customers beyond software licensing and into wider adoption across business operations.

Partner focus

The Claude Partner Network status is tied to services rather than software resale, highlighting implementation and organisational adoption. For Anthropic, the move adds another delivery partner in the UK and Ireland as competition among AI model providers increasingly turns on enterprise integration and governance as much as model performance.

That matters most in sectors with stricter oversight, where companies and public bodies must address compliance, security and internal controls before using generative AI tools at scale. Anthropic said those conditions make regulated sectors a demanding test for services partners.

Regulated sectors

Anthropic cited Version 1's record in production deployments and change management as reasons for the appointment. Its assessment focused not only on technical delivery, but also on whether AI tools could be introduced in environments with high compliance requirements.

Version 1's internal framework for change and adoption was part of that assessment, according to Anthropic. Its Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with client teams to help integrate AI into both technical and non-technical workflows.

That approach reflects a wider market shift, as large organisations move from pilot projects to operational use and seek external support to manage the organisational impact. Services partners are increasingly being asked to prove they can handle governance, training and process redesign alongside system deployment.

Version 1 employs more than 4,200 people globally and reports revenues of more than €400 million. Founded in Ireland, the business has built its profile around digital transformation and consulting services across public and private sector markets.

Anthropic, which develops the Claude family of large language models, has been building a network of partners as it seeks wider commercial use of its AI systems. The company positions safety and controllability as central to its products, an emphasis with particular relevance in sectors handling sensitive data or critical services.
