Moterra AI has reached the Select partner tier in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network Services Track, placing the London-based company among Anthropic's higher-reviewed partner levels.

Anthropic awards the Select tier after reviewing a partner's work against set criteria. Partners must have a certified delivery team, deliver Claude projects for clients and provide public customer references before moving into the tier.

The network is Anthropic's channel for services firms that deploy Claude for customers. Partners progress through Certified, Select, Preferred and Global Premier tiers.

Moterra AI helps businesses deploy Claude within their own AWS or Azure environments. It also connects the model to existing business tools and addresses the security and governance requirements around those deployments.

Partner criteria

The recognition comes as Moterra expands in the UK and Europe. It said the review process gives prospective customers an external assessment of its work from Claude's developer.

Anthropic's partner structure reflects a wider shift in the artificial intelligence market, as suppliers and consulting firms seek to show that pilot projects can be turned into operational systems. For customers, partner badges have become one way to judge whether providers have completed work that has been independently checked.

Moterra's model is aimed at organisations that want to use large language models while keeping control of their own infrastructure. That approach has gained traction among companies facing internal requirements on data handling, oversight and system access.

Cloud deployment

Moterra works with clients that do not want to hand infrastructure control to third parties. It deploys Claude in cloud environments already used by customers rather than moving them to a separate stack.

Alongside the announcement, Moterra listed a series of compliance and certification markers, including ISO 27001, ISO 42001, GDPR, DORA, SOC 2 Type II, the AWS GenAI Competency and Microsoft 365 compatibility. Those references point to the compliance issues shaping corporate AI adoption, particularly in regulated sectors.

Across Europe, businesses adopting generative AI have faced pressure to balance experimentation with governance and auditability. That has opened a market for firms that install and manage AI systems inside existing cloud estates rather than offering access only through external shared environments.

Implementation ecosystem

The Claude Partner Network forms part of Anthropic's effort to build an implementation ecosystem around its model family. As competition in commercial AI services widens, model developers have increasingly relied on outside specialists to integrate systems into business workflows and support clients after deployment.

Moterra said the Select level should help signal to customers that its Claude practice has been reviewed directly by Anthropic. It presented the recognition as part of its commercial push across its home market and the rest of Europe.

"We earned Select through the work: we certified our team, deployed Claude for our clients and delivered results that can be checked. As we grow across the UK and Europe, this recognition from Anthropic matters. For a business choosing who to trust with Claude, it's a clear sign that our deployments hold up," said Vytenis Sakalas, chief executive officer of Moterra AI.
