Syspro buys Evocon to boost real-time shop floor data

Tue, 13th Jan 2026

Syspro has acquired Evocon, an Estonia-based software provider that specialises in real-time production monitoring and overall equipment effectiveness tools for manufacturers.

Syspro said it has completed the deal and plans to make Evocon's software available to Syspro customers worldwide. The company targets manufacturers and distributors with business software and industry-specific tools.

Evocon sells software that tracks machine utilisation, downtime and production bottlenecks. The product uses dashboards for real-time OEE reporting. It also includes quality control tools designed for use by operators on the shop floor. Evocon said customers can deploy the system through self-installation.

Syspro positioned the acquisition as a step that expands its shop floor data collection and performance analysis offering. The company said the combined portfolio provides more visibility into production activity. It also said this improves planning and decision-making and strengthens data quality for performance analysis.

Syspro Chief Executive Officer Jaco Maritz said manufacturers want more timely information from production environments.

"Manufacturers everywhere are seeking greater visibility into what is happening on the shop floor so they can respond faster, improve asset utilisation, and make better operational decisions," said Jaco Maritz, CEO, Syspro.

Maritz also linked the transaction to the company's messaging around "True Pros", a phrase Syspro uses to describe its manufacturing customer base.

"Evocon delivers this visibility in a simple, powerful way that reflects what we stand for: giving True Pros the tools they need to work smarter and faster, with technology built specifically for their industry. Bringing Evocon into the Syspro family enhances our ability to support manufacturers today while creating new opportunities for deeper integration and future innovation," said Maritz.

Management continuity

Syspro said Evocon's management team will remain in place and will work with Syspro on product development and global expansion. The companies did not disclose financial terms.

Evocon Chief Executive Officer Aigar Koov said the company has focused on making production insight accessible to manufacturers of different sizes.

"Evocon has always focused on making production insight accessible, practical, and valuable for manufacturers of all sizes," said Aigar Koov, CEO, Evocon.

Koov said the move gives Evocon more scope to expand.

"Joining Syspro enables us to scale our impact and enhance the value we deliver, while staying true to the simplicity and clarity that customers appreciate. We are excited to be part of a company that understands manufacturers deeply and shares our commitment to helping teams improve performance every day," said Koov.

Product roadmap

Syspro framed the combination as a way to link Evocon's shop floor monitoring with Syspro's manufacturing data used in planning and operations. The company said this connection results in a more accurate view across machines, jobs and processes.

Chris Lloyd, Syspro Chief Solutions and Technology Officer, said the deal adds real-time insight for operators and managers. He also described how Syspro intends to position the combined product set for planning, data quality and automation.

"Evocon's real-time production monitoring and OEE capabilities provide immediate, operator-friendly insight into shop floor performance," said Chris Lloyd, Chief Solutions and Technology Officer, Syspro.

"When combined with Syspro's manufacturing master data, customers gain clearer, smarter visibility that supports better planning, stronger data quality, and the foundation for future automation. Together, we're creating a product pathway that starts with visibility and grows into deeper intelligence and optimisation, empowering manufacturers to progress at their pace," said Lloyd.

Evocon said it serves manufacturers in more than 60 countries across industries that include food, wood, plastics and metal production. Syspro said Evocon's team and technology will now operate as part of Syspro as the company expands what it describes as its shop floor offering for customers worldwide.
