Noledge launches sruu retail platform for Irish stores

Noledge has launched sruu, a digital platform for retailers in Ireland and the UK, already used by more than 600 stores.
The Irish ERP specialist has invested €250,000 in the product and expects it to generate €1 million in revenue by 2028. It also plans to create 10 roles across product development, support, finance, sales and marketing over the same period.
sruu is the latest version of Noledge's existing Connections platform. It combines electronic point-of-sale, supplier, accounting and energy data for retail stores, giving operators a single view of areas often managed through separate systems.
Customers already using the platform include Corrib Oil, Jump Juice Bars, Sewell on the go and Jos Richardson & Son. It is intended for retailers operating either a single site or multiple locations.
The platform can be used for sales, stock and financial reporting, while also monitoring and automating energy use. That focus reflects pressure on retailers to manage operating costs more closely, particularly across estates with dispersed outlets and varied trading patterns.
Noledge is seeking to expand sruu's customer base over the next three years and aims to double the number of stores using the platform in that period.
The launch comes as software suppliers target retailers with systems that combine back-office functions with store-level operational data. For chains and franchise-style networks, a common challenge is linking till data, supplier records, finance systems and energy consumption in a form that can be reviewed centrally.
Noledge operates across Ireland and the UK, focusing on financial management and ERP software. The group is the parent of Envisage, a Sage 200 and Sage Intacct partner, and OSSM, a NetSuite solution provider. It has also acquired accounting and payroll software provider Pimbrook.
Ladislav Zimanyi, Head of Operations at sruu, outlined the company's position on the launch.
"sruu is a one-stop shop for retailers to automate their business processes and improve operational visibility. It is scalable as businesses grow and simplifies expansion as new retail sites are added. The ability to use business data to spot trends and patterns in a rapidly changing retail landscape, as consumer demand continues to shift, will help stores keep pace with competitors. We are on an ambitious growth path and plan to expand our presence in response to increasing demand for digital capabilities among businesses. A new generation of retailers is emerging in the digital age, and we look forward to becoming a key part of their journeys," said Zimanyi.
The company said the investment reflects its strategy of expanding software offerings for the retail sector while increasing recurring subscription revenue. As retailers continue to consolidate operational data across multiple business functions, demand for integrated management platforms has grown. Noledge expects sruu to play a larger role in helping businesses improve visibility across sales, inventory, finance and energy management.
The planned recruitment will support further product development and customer onboarding as the platform expands. The company said it will continue enhancing sruu's capabilities in line with changing retailer requirements across Ireland and the UK.
