OneAdvanced ties up with Clarus in warehouse software push

OneAdvanced has formed a strategic partnership with Clarus WMS, adding warehouse management to OneAdvanced's IQ Logistics system.

The agreement links Clarus's warehouse management software with IQ Logistics, which covers finance, spend, governance, people and workforce management. Warehouse decisions made in Clarus will now feed into finance, compliance and workforce workflows in IQ, reducing the need to reconcile information across separate systems.

At the centre of the tie-up is OneAdvanced's IQ platform, which provides the data and integration layer. The arrangement also uses its IQ Intelligent Experience interface and IQ Intelligent Services support model, so warehouse operations and finance teams can work from the same information.

The two companies already share a number of customers, and the partnership formalises that relationship. It comes as logistics, warehousing and manufacturing businesses face pressure to replace older systems, cut inefficiencies and apply artificial intelligence across supply chain operations without creating new data silos.

OneAdvanced cited research it carried out with the Road Haulage Association, which found many organisations have struggled to sustain returns from technology spending because of fragmented systems, siloed data and a build-up of standalone tools. Adding warehouse management to IQ's broader workflow structure is intended to address those issues.

Warehouse link

Clarus focuses on warehouse management software for third-party logistics providers, wholesalers, manufacturers and eCommerce operators. Its system handles processes including goods-in, picking, billing and exception management. According to Clarus, the software automates warehouse decision-making while improving stock accuracy and cutting administrative work.

Under the partnership, operational data will sit alongside back-office functions in a single environment. That, OneAdvanced said, would help organisations govern processes and datasets under the same internal rules, particularly where compliance, visibility and resilience are priorities.

The partnership is designed to address industry challenges including practical AI adoption, warehouse efficiency, cost-to-serve, supply chain resilience and data-led decision-making. The companies also pointed to support for mutual customers updating legacy systems and building confidence in the use of AI across logistics operations.

Sector pressure

The move reflects broader demand in UK logistics for systems that connect operational and administrative functions more closely. Operators face continuing pressure to improve throughput, manage costs and maintain service levels while dealing with complex supply chains and increased scrutiny over compliance and governance.

OneAdvanced said the logistics sector accounts for more than 8% of the UK workforce and contributes GBP £170 billion to the economy each year. That scale has made more integrated software a priority for companies seeking tighter control over stock, orders, staffing and financial reporting.

The partnership also includes joint product development and shared commercial activity between the two businesses. They also plan to work together on discussions around technology adoption, data governance and operational efficiency in the sector.
