Logicalis UK&I has selected Pentera to expand its cybersecurity services for customers in the UK. The agreement adds continuous security validation to Logicalis' offering.

The partnership is aimed at organisations operating across cloud, hybrid and AI-enabled environments, where security teams are managing more complex systems and a broader attack surface. Customers will be able to emulate real-world attack techniques, test security controls in production environments and prioritise remediation based on verified exposure.

The move comes amid concern among technology leaders about their ability to track emerging risks. Research cited by Logicalis found that 71% of UK Chief Information Officers had experienced a cybersecurity incident in the past 12 months, while 75% said they were only moderately confident they had full visibility of the AI tools and services being used across their organisation.

Traditional penetration testing has often been carried out annually or around major technology projects. Logicalis and Pentera are positioning continuous validation as a way to check resilience more regularly as infrastructure, applications, identities and AI-enabled services change over time.

Testing shift

The approach is intended to help security teams identify exploitable risks on an ongoing basis rather than rely on periodic reviews or assumed vulnerabilities. It also reflects growing pressure on businesses in regulated sectors to show that security controls remain effective as their systems evolve.

Mike Fry, Infrastructure, Data & Security Solutions Director at Logicalis UK&I, outlined the company's view of that shift.

"The threat landscape facing organisations today is evolving faster and becoming more sophisticated than ever before. Relying solely on annual penetration tests or ad-hoc testing around new projects no longer provides the level of assurance businesses need. We're seeing a clear upward shift towards an always-on approach to security validation, particularly across highly regulated industries such as financial services, manufacturing and utilities, where organisations can continuously understand their exposure to real-world attacks as their environments change," said Mike Fry, Infrastructure, Data & Security Solutions Director at Logicalis UK&I.

The partnership also gives Pentera another route into UK organisations looking to strengthen cyber oversight as AI adoption grows. Security validation tools are increasingly being marketed as a complement to conventional penetration testing, with vendors arguing that regular automated exercises can provide a more current picture of exposure.

Logicalis operates globally as a technology services group with more than 7,000 staff across 30 territories and serves more than 10,000 clients. The business reports annualised revenue of USD $1.63 billion and sits within Datatec, which is listed in Johannesburg and has revenue of more than USD $3.6 billion.

Partner rationale

Pentera said the partnership reflects demand from organisations seeking a clearer view of how security weaknesses can be exploited in live environments. Its platform is designed to automate adversarial testing so customers can validate defences and decide which issues require the fastest response.

"Logicalis' ability to design, manage and secure complex digital environments aligns strongly with Pentera's mission to make cyber risk visible, actionable and remediated. Together, we are enabling customers to continuously validate security controls and efficiently address the security exposures that matter most," said Sivan Harel, SVP Sales, EMEA at Pentera.
