Keeper Security has appointed Jessica Krowel as Senior Vice President of North America Sales, Private Sector, and Bill Grabner as Senior Vice President of Public Sector, expanding its North American sales leadership team.

Both will report to Tim Strickland, Chief Revenue Officer, as Keeper adds senior leadership across private and public sector sales to support demand from mid-market customers, large enterprises and federal bodies.

Krowel joins with nearly 20 years of sales and go-to-market experience in identity and access management. She spent 14 years at CyberArk, where she rose to Global Vice President of Inside Sales and Chief of Staff to the go-to-market organisation, before moving to Delinea as Vice President of Global Sales Development.

Grabner brings more than two decades of public sector and federal sales experience. Before joining Keeper, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager at JMA Wireless. He also held leadership roles at Ribbon Communications, Cisco and BroadSoft.

The hires come as identity security vendors compete for a larger share of corporate and government spending on access controls, privileged access management and related software. Organisations are increasingly looking to reduce the number of separate identity and access management tools they use and replace them with broader platforms.

That backdrop has supported recent growth at the business. Keeper said its revenue increased by 53.4% in 2025, compared with average growth of 15.5% across the wider security software market, and cited research ranking it as the second fastest-growing competitor in the sector.

The same market analysis valued the global security software market at USD $111 billion. According to Keeper, the report linked growth among the fastest-expanding vendors to platform consolidation and customer efforts to move away from fragmented point products.

Sales push

Keeper's latest management changes indicate a sharper split between its public and private sector sales efforts. Krowel will oversee North America private sector sales, while Grabner will focus on public sector customers, including government buyers.

That division reflects differences in sales cycles and procurement requirements between commercial and government markets. Public sector contracts often involve longer buying processes and stricter compliance demands, while private sector customers may move faster but face their own pressures around integrating identity tools across large workforces and software environments.

Keeper's main product offering combines password and passkey management, privileged session management, secrets management and endpoint privilege management in a single platform. It also includes tools designed to monitor privileged sessions and extend governance to machine identities and AI agents, as well as human users.

The company has cited its own research to argue that many organisations still have gaps in privileged access management. It said only 36% of organisations report having a privileged access management solution fully deployed, while 64% still lack fully consolidated privileged access governance.

Those figures help explain why vendors in the sector are broadening their product lines and sharpening their sales coverage. Identity has become a larger part of cyber risk management as businesses handle growing numbers of employee, contractor, machine and software identities across cloud services and internal systems.

Artificial intelligence has added another layer to that debate, with security companies increasingly framing AI systems and agents as identities that also require access controls and oversight. Vendors are trying to position identity products not only as user authentication tools but also as governance systems for automated and non-human actors.

Strickland linked the appointments to that market shift. "The cybersecurity market is seeing an unprecedented inflection point with the advent and widespread adoption of AI technologies," said Tim Strickland, Chief Revenue Officer, Keeper Security.

"With Jessica and Bill onboard, Keeper is poised to continue accelerating its rocketing growth as organizations seek identity security solutions that harness the power of AI to protect against existing human risks and emerging agentic AI threats," Strickland said.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder Darren Guccione also framed the changes around the growing importance of identity governance. "Identity has become the center of enterprise risk and governance given that human and non-human identities are proliferating faster than most organizations can secure and manage them," said Darren Guccione, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, Keeper Security.

"We are thrilled to have Jessica and Bill on our team given their superb knowledge and expertise in helping organizations secure and govern all identities in the modern era," Guccione said.
