Hadean partners with Google Cloud to enhance spatial platform

Today

Hadean, a UK-based spatial computing company, has announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to integrate Google's AI models, specifically the Gemini series, into Hadean's spatial platform.

This collaboration is expected to enhance Hadean's ability to deliver digital environments that assist organisations in predicting and preparing for real-world events through more effective and realistic virtual simulations. The integration of Google's advanced AI technology aims to validate information in real-time while simplifying user interactions with complex virtual environments by supporting text and voice engagements.

The enhanced simulations aim to benefit sectors such as disaster preparedness, urban planning, and scientific research. Organisations across these areas can leverage real-time analysis to make quicker and more informed decisions. The high level of realism in these simulations could improve training exercises and planning scenarios, creating a deeper understanding of potential situations, such as natural disasters or traffic disruptions.

In the public sector, applications include using the technology for disaster relief preparations. For instance, a relief organisation could use the platform to simulate the impact of a hurricane on a coastal town, thus aiding responders to better understand and prepare for flooding, building damage, and other impacts.

In the private sector, particularly in transport and urban planning, the collaboration could allow for accurate digital twins that simulate city dynamics such as traffic and pedestrian flow. This can lead to real-time traffic optimisation and smarter road network designs, with broader implications for public transport and city planning.

The platform's potential applications extend to research and development, where it could be used for epidemic modeling and simulating disease spread, thus supporting public health officials in managing outbreaks.

Chris Arthurs, VP Innovation at Hadean, commented on the development: "This collaboration with Google Cloud marks a significant milestone for Hadean. By integrating Google Cloud's leading AI technology with our spatial computing platform, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in simulation technology. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to innovation and our drive to bridge physical and virtual worlds."

Adrian Poole, Director, Digital Natives UKI, Google Cloud, said: "By combining Hadean's spatial computing expertise with Gemini's advanced AI capabilities, we are empowering organisations to tackle the complex challenges associated with spatial modeling. This collaboration has the potential to transform how governments and organisations approach everything from disaster preparedness to scientific research."

The partnership highlights Hadean's ambition to utilise advanced AI technologies within its spatial computing platform to offer solutions that can be applied to both government and commercial markets globally. The platform is expected to facilitate increased efficiency in training exercises and planning scenarios through its enhanced realism, improved decision-making capabilities, and simplified user engagement.
