Greenvolt Next appoints Kelly as Chief Operating Officer

Greenvolt Next has appointed Tadhg Kelly as Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for the company's operations in Ireland and the UK.

He will lead operations across the business, overseeing construction, communications, programme delivery and cross-functional performance, supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects as Greenvolt Next expands in both markets.

The appointment strengthens Greenvolt Next's leadership team as it scales up its renewable energy activity and invests in its workforce to support a growing project pipeline.

Part of Greenvolt Group, Greenvolt Next focuses on renewable energy systems for commercial and industrial customers. In Ireland, the business was formerly known as Enerpower powered by Greenvolt.

Before joining Greenvolt Next, Kelly spent 20 years at BAM UK & Ireland, where he held a series of senior roles. During that time, he worked on infrastructure projects including hospitals, education facilities, airport structures and public buildings.

He holds a Master of Science in Construction Project Management from Waterford Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Structural Engineering from DIT Bolton Street, now part of Technological University Dublin.

The move comes as renewable energy providers build out management teams to handle larger, more complex project pipelines across Ireland and the UK. For companies serving commercial and industrial customers, operational execution has become increasingly important as clients seek to manage energy costs and meet emissions targets.

Greenvolt Next Ireland says it has installed and maintains more than 160MW of renewable energy capacity across more than 700 projects. Its work includes biomass fuel, heat pumps, solar panels and wind energy.
