Westcon-Comstor has appointed Olya Scekaturova as Vice President of Regional Sales for the UK and Ireland, putting her in charge of the distributor's newly integrated UKI sales operation.

Scekaturova joins from digital infrastructure provider Black Box, where she served as Vice President for the UKI and Europe business. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Computacenter and Insight Enterprises.

Her appointment comes as Westcon-Comstor combines its Westcon and Comstor sales teams in the UK and Ireland into a single structure. The change brings the market into line with a wider European operating model designed to give partners and vendors a single route into its sales organisation across technologies and geographies.

In the role, Scekaturova will oversee sales execution in one of the distributor's key regional markets. She will also lead partner and vendor engagement in the UK and Ireland.

John Nolan will support the revised structure as Senior Director, Vendor Sales. He previously led the Westcon business in the UK and Ireland.

European model

All engagements in the UK and Ireland, and across Europe, now sit under a single operating model. Westcon-Comstor said the approach is intended to give partners clearer ownership and coordinated coverage, while offering vendors a more consistent route to market across the region.

The UKI changes are part of a broader overhaul of Westcon-Comstor's European sales organisation under Stéphane Reboud, Senior Vice President, Sales, Europe. Scekaturova will report to Reboud, whose regional leadership team now covers DACH, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, strategic named accounts, and sales performance and planning.

Westcon-Comstor operates in cybersecurity, networking, and hybrid cloud distribution, and has a presence in more than 50 countries. It goes to market through the Westcon, Comstor, and Rebura businesses.

According to the company, Scekaturova brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and technology services leadership. She has led transformation programmes, built teams, and is a certified change management practitioner.

Outside her commercial roles, she volunteers as a STEM Ambassador, working with schools on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics activities.

Her appointment completes the European sales leadership team assembled by Reboud. The line-up includes Jens Gerken as Vice President of Regional Sales, DACH; Arno Beker as Vice President of Regional Sales, Northern Europe; Maurizio Lavagna as Vice President of Regional Sales, Southern Europe; Patrick Govers as Vice President of Sales, Strategic Named Accounts; and Fabric Sultan as Director of Sales, Performance and Planning.

Scekaturova outlined her priorities in the new post.

"I'm excited to join Westcon-Comstor at such an important point in its journey. The business has strong foundations and momentum in the UK and Ireland, with a clear strategy focused on helping partners grow through deeper engagement and consistent execution. My priority is to ensure we support partners in capturing high-margin, repeatable, and lifecycle-led opportunities while enabling vendors to accelerate their channel-led growth, harness emerging technologies, and retain the focus on human relationships that is central to success in the channel," said Olya Scekaturova, Vice President of Regional Sales, UKI, Westcon-Comstor.

Reboud said the hire was part of a wider change in the group's regional sales approach.

"Olya's clear focus on execution and operational excellence made her the outstanding candidate for this role, and I'm thrilled to welcome her to the business. This appointment reflects a broader shift in how we are reshaping our offering and go-to-market strategy across Europe to meet the changing needs of partners and vendors in an era defined by platforms, marketplaces, and ecosystems. UKI is one of our most important markets and, by building on our high-performance sales culture with ambition and accountability at the core, Olya and her team have the capability and mindset to drive the next phase of growth," said Stéphane Reboud, Senior Vice President, Sales, Europe, Westcon-Comstor.
