Westcon-Comstor has been named one of the UK's Best Workplaces in Tech by Great Place To Work UK for the second year in a row.

The distributor was listed in the large and super large category of the 2026 ranking, which covers organisations in the technology sector. The recognition also includes Rebura, the AWS cloud consultancy Westcon-Comstor acquired in 2024.

Great Place To Work UK compiled the list using its Trust Index employee survey and analysis of responses from UK-based tech workers. The assessment covered work-life balance, fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security, as well as how consistently employees experience the workplace across departments and seniority levels.

Westcon-Comstor employs more than 500 people in the UK across sites in London, Bracknell, Cirencester and Swindon. It also recently opened a new London office to serve as a regional hub for European operations.

The latest recognition follows a broader certification round in which Westcon-Comstor was named a Great Place To Work in the UK and 24 other countries after its second worldwide assessment. Employees highlighted the company's leadership approach, inclusion efforts and clarity on how individual roles connect to wider business strategy.

Employee feedback

Workplace rankings have become a common benchmark for employers competing for talent in the technology sector, where retention and recruitment remain under close scrutiny. For distributors and service providers, such lists can also influence how vendors and channel partners view organisational stability and culture.

Westcon-Comstor operates in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud distribution, with a presence in more than 50 countries. It goes to market through three business lines: Westcon, Comstor and Rebura.

Olya Scekaturova, Vice President of Regional Sales, UKI at Westcon-Comstor, said the recognition carried particular weight because it was based on employee views.

"Being recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces in Tech for the second consecutive year is particularly meaningful because it reflects the experiences and feedback of our own people. We work hard to create an environment where colleagues feel trusted, supported and able to develop their careers. Having joined Westcon-Comstor recently, I've already seen first-hand the positive culture that exists across the business and the pride people take in their work. This recognition reflects the culture our teams have built together and reinforces our commitment to listening, learning and continually improving the employee experience," Scekaturova said.

Sector benchmark

Great Place To Work UK said the ranking comes as technology employers navigate rapid changes in working practices and business models. The organisation focuses its research on workplace culture and employee experience, and its lists are widely used in employer branding across the sector.

"The technology sector continues to evolve at pace, with advances in AI and digital innovation reshaping the way organisations operate and people work. In an environment defined by constant change, the UK's Best Workplaces in Tech demonstrate that a strong people-first culture is key to building confidence, connection, and trust. Through purposeful investment in their workplace culture, transparent leadership, and a commitment to supporting their employees, these organisations create environments where people feel secure, valued, and empowered to embrace what comes next. Congratulations to Westcon-Comstor on being recognised as a UK's Best Workplace in Tech and for creating a culture where people can thrive," said Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director at Great Place To Work UK.
