Vasion has opened its UK headquarters in London, its second European office after Frankfurt.

The London base will serve as the hub for Vasion's UK customer and partner activity, including regional partner support across the UK and EMEA, onboarding for its partner programmes and academy, and customer briefings. It also gives the 500 organisations Vasion serves in the UK and Ireland a local point for support and engagement.

The move expands Vasion's presence in a market where many customers already know the business through PrinterLogic, its print management product. Vasion has invested in the region for several years and now operates in about a dozen European countries.

The opening is part of a broader European push following the launch of the Frankfurt office. London is being positioned as a priority location as businesses across the UK and EMEA examine how document-heavy processes fit into wider artificial intelligence plans.

Research from Quocirca, cited by Vasion, found that 64% of IT decision-makers plan to increase AI investment and 63% expect to raise spending on intelligent document processing in 2026. Vasion argues that documents remain a weak point for many organisations because information still often moves through print, scan and file-based processes rather than into governed digital systems.

Partner focus

The London office follows changes to Vasion's partner strategy, including an updated global partner programme, a rebuilt partner portal and the launch of the Vasion Partner Academy. The academy offers online certification paths in sales, technical sales and support.

Those additions matter because channel partners remain central to how Vasion reaches customers in the UK market. Named UK partners include Nuvem, which works in managed print and document services, and IT services group SCC, alongside other managed service providers across Europe.

Vasion said the new office would bring local support closer to partners as well as end customers. The company also expects the London site to expand through local hiring over time, although it did not give recruitment figures.

Ryan Wedig outlined the company's view of the market and the role of partners in its regional growth.

“Intelligent Document Automation is gaining momentum, and our UK partners are how we reach customers who want to act on AI now. Data goes dark the moment a document is created. Our mission is to eliminate dark document data, capture the context and make it AI ready. Many know us as PrinterLogic, and their response as we extend into document workflows with Vasion Automate has been extraordinarily positive,” said Ryan Wedig, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vasion.

Document workflow

Vasion's business has its roots in cloud-based print management, but it is broadening its pitch to cover document workflows more widely. Its platform includes PrinterLogic for end-user print, PrinterLogic Output for system-generated output from enterprise resource planning and other business applications, and Vasion Automate for workflows, forms, electronic signatures and storage.

The aim is to let organisations move a document from output to structured data and then into an approved record within the same platform. That reflects a wider trend among software suppliers seeking to connect older print and scan processes to digital workflow systems rather than treating them as separate infrastructure.

For businesses handling large volumes of forms, scanned files and printed records, the issue has become more pressing as they assess how much of their operational data can be used in AI systems. Information in static or unstructured documents is often harder to search, govern or process than data captured inside line-of-business applications.

The partner network is likely to play a large role in whether Vasion can turn that argument into sales growth in the region. Managed print providers, resellers and IT services groups often have long-standing customer relationships in sectors such as public services, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services and education, where paper-based and document-led workflows remain common.

Daniel Lancaster, one of the company's UK partners, said the London base should make that collaboration easier.

“Our relationship with Vasion has grown through a shared focus on helping customers modernise their print environments,” said Daniel Lancaster, Founder and Director, Nuvem Solutions. “The new London headquarters gives us greater access to Vasion's expertise and creates more opportunities for our teams to collaborate, develop new solutions and respond to customers' evolving needs. Combined with the new Partner Academy, this is a meaningful investment in the partners that will support Vasion's next phase of growth in the UK.”

Vasion said it now serves more than 14,000 customers globally, with users across government, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services and education.
