Varonis Systems named leader in data security by Forrester

Varonis Systems has achieved top placement in The Forrester Wave: Data Security Platforms, Q1 2025 report, as announced by the firm.

According to the report, Varonis was named a Leader in the evaluation conducted by the research and advisory company Forrester, an achievement supplemented by a new designation as a Customer Favourite. This recognition was based on substantial customer feedback highlighting satisfaction with the company's offerings.

The report revealed that Varonis secured the highest score in the Current Offering category, achieving 5 out of 5 in several criteria, including Data Discovery, Data Classification, Data Threat and Risk Visibility, Data Access Controls, Reporting, Investigations, Manageability and Support, and Supplier Risk. The company also topped the Strategy category, earning high marks in Vision, Innovation, Pricing Flexibility and Transparency, Community, and Supporting Services and Offerings.

"Customers praise the careful, planned use of AI and automation, highlighting areas like workflow and data classification. They commend Varonis' support and both the IR and MDDR (Managed Data Detection and Response) services," noted the Forrester report.

The report further stated, "Varonis' vision of harnessing deep data insights to automate remediation for data security outcomes stands out. Its demonstrated ability to execute and its approach to innovation and supporting services reinforce its differentiation." It suggested that organisations needing a deep understanding of data and access control remediation should consider Varonis.
