Transact Payments rebrands as TransactPay to mark new chapter
Transact Payments has announced a strategic rebrand, emerging as TransactPay, marking a new chapter in the company's evolution after more than a decade of significant growth. Founded 12 years ago, the company initially positioned itself as a provider of BIN sponsorship services and has since grown to become a pivotal enabler for Programme Managers within the financial industry.
TransactPay has played a crucial role in assisting established financial institutions and emerging fintech companies in the rapid launch of innovative B2B and B2C products while maintaining stringent regulatory compliance. By offering its services and expertise, the company aims to enhance the payments ecosystem across the UK and Europe.
The rebranding process, which spanned twelve months and involved stakeholders from across the organisation, was designed to build on the brand equity developed since the company's founding in 2012. The new name and identity are intended to better reflect TransactPay's current status as an international entity and its diversified range of service offerings.
The rebrand comes during a period of sustained growth and profitability for TransactPay. Its clientele includes notable names such as Payac, Afterpay, Currencies Direct, Tymit, Yonder, and Moss. To complement the rebrand, TransactPay has introduced a new strapline, "The Partnership that Pays," and has launched a new website to enhance its online presence.
Aaron Carpenter, CEO of TransactPay, commented on the rebranding initiative: "TransactPay is an impactful new identity that reflects our ambitions to become the BIN sponsor of choice for Programme Managers across the payments ecosystem in the UK and Europe. Crucially, our rebrand isn't a departure from our roots; instead, it is a reaffirmation of our core values while better showcasing who TransactPay is today."
Carpenter continued, "Since launching over 12 years ago, the financial industry has undergone an extraordinary pace of change, and TransactPay is proud to have become a key enabler of our customers' product innovation, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. Our new strapline, 'The Partnership that Pays,' underscores TransactPay's enabling role in this dynamic environment while reflecting our mission and values."
He emphasised that the rebrand symbolises more than just a name change; it represents a critical step in the future growth and development of TransactPay. The new brand identity aims to resonate with current and potential clients, clarifying the company's expanded capabilities and international reach.
As TransactPay continues its journey, it remains dedicated to supporting Programme Managers and financial institutions in launching cutting-edge financial products with speed and compliance. The rebrand is a testament to the company's growth and vision for the future, reflecting its ongoing dedication to driving innovation in the payments sector. The rebranding initiative is indicative of TransactPay's commitment to staying at the forefront of payment solutions, ensuring that it continues to meet the evolving needs of its clients in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
