Park Place Technologies has named TekWurx an official partner for its Entuity Software network observability platform. The agreement links Entuity with TekWurx's work in operational data and service modelling.

The partnership targets organisations running hybrid IT estates, where infrastructure monitoring alone does not show how faults affect business services. It combines Entuity's network monitoring with TekWurx's uControl platform and CMDB optimisation work to give IT teams a broader operational view.

The aim is to connect network events with service context so teams can identify not only where a problem sits in the infrastructure, but also which business services depend on it. The companies said this should help customers improve incident investigation and better understand service dependencies.

Park Place supports more than 21,500 organisations, including half of the Fortune 500, according to the company. Entuity is its network observability and performance monitoring product, while TekWurx focuses on operational data, service modelling and IT operations transformation.

Service context

For large IT departments, the challenge is often not a lack of raw system data, but linking that data into a reliable picture of how services operate. Configuration management databases, or CMDBs, are often used to map relationships between applications, infrastructure and business services, but many organisations struggle with fragmented records and inconsistent data.

The partnership is intended to address that problem by improving CMDB accuracy and creating a single operational view across technology estates. The combined offer is also designed to support automated incident management, intelligent workflows and real-time service modelling.

The deal reflects a broader shift in enterprise IT operations, from passive monitoring towards systems that place technical events in business context. In hybrid environments, where workloads and networks span on-premises systems and cloud services, that context can shape how quickly teams isolate the source of an outage and decide on a response.

Case Allin, general manager of software solutions at Park Place Technologies, outlined the company's view of the partnership.

"This partnership reflects Park Place Technologies' commitment to delivering greater value to customers through a strong ecosystem of trusted partners," said Case Allin, general manager of software solutions at Park Place Technologies. "TekWurx brings deep expertise in transforming operational data into meaningful business insight. As a partner for Entuity Software, TekWurx is well positioned to help customers extend the value of network observability into service intelligence, automation and operational resilience."

Operational data

TekWurx said its role would be to help customers turn infrastructure and service information into operational insight for day-to-day decision-making. Its focus includes reducing uncertainty in IT operations by improving the trustworthiness of data used by service management teams.

According to the companies, customers using the combined services can expect better visibility across networks, infrastructure and service environments; faster incident detection and resolution; and a clearer view of the business impact of operational events. They also pointed to lower operational risk, more accurate service models and greater efficiency through automation.

Nik Dimmock, chief executive officer and co-founder of TekWurx, said the partnership was intended to help customers work with cleaner, more useful operational information.

"At TekWurx, our mission is to eliminate uncertainty in IT operations by turning fragmented data into trusted insight and actionable control. Entuity's observability capabilities provide a powerful source of operational intelligence, and when combined with our expertise in service modeling, data trust, and operational automation, we can help organisations make faster, better-informed decisions while reducing both operational risk and cost," said Dimmock.

The partnership also reflects the growing importance of observability software in enterprise IT management. Traditional monitoring tools can show the status of servers, network devices and applications, but businesses increasingly want systems that reveal interdependencies and the likely effect of any failure on customers, staff or critical processes.

Steve Hicks, chief technology officer and co-founder of TekWurx, said the distinction between visibility and operational intelligence sat at the centre of the relationship.

"Visibility alone only tells you what is there. Operational intelligence comes from understanding how technology components relate to the services the business depends on. Together, Entuity and TekWurx help customers bridge that gap by combining real-time network observability with trusted service context," said Hicks.
