SYSPRO acquires DATASCOPE to boost global warehouse solutions

Mon, 4th Aug 2025

SYSPRO has announced its acquisition of the U.S.-based warehouse management system provider DATASCOPE, marking its third strategic purchase in the past 12 months.

This latest move follows SYSPRO's recent acquisitions of NexSys and riteSOFT, and is aimed at strengthening the company's presence in the manufacturing and distribution sectors by expanding its warehouse and inventory management capabilities.

The integration of DATASCOPE's platform, which is already closely aligned with SYSPRO's enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, will allow the company to deliver more unified and scalable solutions for global manufacturers and distributors.

Warehouse management focus

The acquisition aims to provide SYSPRO customers with enhanced inventory visibility, greater control over supply chains, and better operational efficiency.

The companies stated that the transition would require minimal disruption for existing customers due to the technical and functional alignment of DATASCOPE within the SYSPRO ecosystem.

Partners in SYSPRO's network will now have the ability to offer a more comprehensive set of warehouse management solutions, with the pre-integrated DATASCOPE platform enabling them to differentiate their services and approach new market segments more effectively.

Strategic growth plan

SYSPRO's ongoing strategy under Advent's ownership is to maintain its focus on manufacturing and distribution, while expanding both the breadth and scale of its offerings. The acquisition of DATASCOPE forms part of this approach, with the company seeking to balance functional depth and operational scalability for its global customer base.

According to the information provided, the DATASCOPE team will become part of SYSPRO, bringing with them their experience in warehouse management systems. This move is expected to accelerate both companies' shared mission of supporting manufacturers and distributors with solutions designed specifically for their sectors.

Company leadership commentary

DATASCOPE has been a long-standing strategic partner, with a solution built to complement and enhance the SYSPRO ERP experience. This acquisition strengthens our ability to offer an end-to-end, purpose-built digital manufacturing experience that simplifies warehouse and supply chain operations without added complexity.

This was stated by Jaco Maritz, Chief Executive Officer of SYSPRO, in reference to the enhanced capabilities the acquisition brings to the company's offering.

Anton Jurgens, President and Founder of DATASCOPE, said,

SYSPRO has always been one of our most important strategic partners. Our entire solution was built with SYSPRO at its core. As part of SYSPRO, we're now positioned to scale our impact, innovate faster, and better serve our customers on a global level.
