Sendcloud appoints Amelia Scott as new Chief Revenue Officer

Today

Sendcloud has announced the appointment of Amelia Scott as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

With over a decade of experience in B2B SaaS sales, she will be responsible for driving the company's growth strategy across both existing and new markets, while focusing on enhancing sales efficiency and maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Amelia Scott joins Sendcloud at a critical juncture as the company strives to meet the growing demands of e-commerce across Europe. Citing internal research, Sendcloud highlighted that 44% of consumers abandon shopping carts if their delivery expectations are not met, underlining the importance of providing a seamless shipping experience in fostering customer loyalty.

In her new role, Scott expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "With over 25,000 customers, this is an incredibly exciting time to join Sendcloud. I'm thrilled to help drive the next phase of growth and ensure we continue transforming the way businesses handle their shipping operations. I look forward to enabling more merchants to improve the shipping experience for their customers."

Scott holds a strong track record in B2B SaaS sales, having served as Global Vice President of Sales at Culture Amp, where she successfully led high-performing sales teams and drove substantial global growth. Recognised as a Top 10 UK Sales Leader in 2023, her expertise is expected to play a decisive role in scaling Sendcloud's revenue and optimising its sales processes.

Sabi Tolou, CCO at Sendcloud, commented on the appointment, saying, "Having Amelia on board puts us in a fantastic position to accelerate our growth and deliver greater value to our merchants. As someone who has been closely involved in leading our sales efforts, it gives me confidence that her expertise in global sales operations will ensure we continue to scale effectively and deliver exceptional results."

Sendcloud aims to enhance its partnership model, focusing on a more strategic and consultative approach as it scales its operations. The company was recently featured in the FT1000 and Top 100 Next Unicorns, reflecting its ongoing commitment to addressing shipping challenges globally.

The company provides a platform that centralises and automates the entire shipping process, from label printing to branded tracking updates and returns management. This comprehensive solution is designed to help retailers, marketplaces, and fulfillment companies scale their operations and deliver consistent shipping experiences.
