Semarchy reports 50% revenue growth in EMEA, posing competition to industry giants
Thu, 14th Mar 2024

Semarchy, the France-based provider of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, has revealed a 50% increase in yearly continuing revenue for the year 2023 in its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) sector. A significant part of this success is due to powerful investment in UK and Ireland operations. The growth has placed the company in direct competition with giants like Informatica in the data management technology arena.

To foster this strong growth, Semarchy has doubled its UK and Ireland team in the last year. This workforce expansion spans across various domains, including client services, pre-sales, and sales. Prominently, the company appointed Andy Baillie, a stalwart from B2B SaaS companies like IBM, DocuSign, and Seismic, as the VP Sales for UK and Ireland.

In addition to internal growth, Semarchy has embraced a partner-first approach that has bolstered its expansion. Over the previous year, the company has certified more than 50 additional trained consultants and specialists across strategic partners like Amplifi, Valcon, and Agile Solutions in the UK and Ireland. These partnerships offer valuable capabilities in areas such as vertical applications, AI integrations, implementation, and change management.

Notably, a significant part of Semarchy's growth originates from existing clients, over half of which have increased their commitment to Semarchy's solutions. The company's data integration offerings, especially Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) migration and data integration into Snowflake, have seen a surge in demand.

Semarchy continues to focus on enhancing the customer journey and experience. As a testament to this, Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer report for Master Data Management Solutions named Semarchy a Customers' Choice in 2024. Semarchy holds a noteworthy overall Gartner rating of 4.8 out of 5 for the MDM solutions market.

A noteworthy addition to the company’s offerings, Semarchy has launched an MDM Acceleration Toolkit which enables clients to rapidly create a business case for MDM and implement pilot projects within 30 days. Its capabilities extend to assisting clients in achieving faster implementation, integration, and adoption of MDM capabilities. In particular, Semarchy’s Salesforce Accelerator ensures rapid cleansing and reuse of crucial customer data.

"We are thrilled to see such strong validation in the UKI region through new customer wins, partner momentum and outstanding customer satisfaction," said Andy Baillie, VP Sales for UK and Ireland at Semarchy. He added, "As we enter 2024, we are committed to building on this growth by continuing to equip our customers and partners with leading data management capabilities. Semarchy's growth, especially in EMEA, reflects its position as the best in breed for MDM solutions."
