SAP appoints Peter Moore to lead Asia Pacific partner ecosystem

SAP has announced the appointment of Peter Moore as Head of Partner Ecosystem for SAP Asia Pacific (APAC), a move that places the experienced technology leader at the helm of the company's regional partner strategy.

Moore takes over from Utkarsh Maheshwari, who served in the position since 2021 and earlier this year transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Global Partner Sales and Services at SAP.

In his new role, Moore will be tasked with leading and expanding SAP's partner ecosystem across the APAC region. His responsibilities include driving partner recruitment, enablement and co-innovation, all aimed at delivering value to customers across diverse industries.

According to SAP, Moore's focus will be on strengthening strategic alliances and empowering partners to deliver digital transformation through SAP's technologies.

"The partner ecosystem is crucial to SAP's success in Asia Pacific, especially as we experience rapid cloud adoption and increasing demand for specialised industry solutions," said Simon Davies, Regional President, SAP APAC.

Moore has more than two decades of experience in the technology sector and has developed a deep understanding of the Asian market. He has been with SAP for twelve years and has held various leadership positions during his tenure.

He is also an active executive sponsor for several strategic SAP customers and ecosystem partners. His past work has been marked by a strong emphasis on customer success, and he has played a key role in driving innovation and thought leadership in the Asia Pacific, Japan and European markets.
