Peak launches AI agents to optimise retail & manufacturing ops
Peak has launched a new suite of Agentic AI solutions aimed at enhancing operations for retailers and manufacturers, already being utilised by Hain Celestial and Speedy Hire.
The new offerings, Agentic Merchandising, Agentic Inventory Management, and Agentic Commercial Pricing, have been designed as autonomous agents capable of predicting, deciding, and acting independently across multiple commercial functions. According to Peak, this represents a departure from traditional AI systems that merely recommend actions, as these new agentic solutions directly drive outcomes by optimising and automating complex decisions in real-time operational environments.
Peak's Agentic AI suite is intended for a broad application but has initially found use in mitigating supply chain volatility at Hain Celestial, and in refining pricing strategies at Speedy Hire. The solutions aim to help companies navigate increasing operational complexity, fluctuating markets, shifting demand, and ongoing supply chain disruptions.
This new era in AI technologies, built on large language models, offers unprecedented potential for businesses to increase their own performance. At the same time, businesses are under enormous pressure to adapt quickly to growing operational complexity, market volatility, changing demand and supply chain disruptions. Our agentic AI solutions give our customers the ability to optimize and automate every complex commercial decision in their business - from moving products around their network, to pricing their products perfectly, to managing demand. Together, these capabilities are allowing them to drive increased performance while dealing with this ever-changing business environment we face today.

Merchandising and inventory
Agentic Merchandising is aimed at retail teams and enables optimisation throughout the merchandising lifecycle, including product procurement, distribution, store allocation, pricing, promotions, and markdown management. By automating these decision processes, the system is intended to support retailers' goals for revenue, margins, and inventory efficiency, while reducing workload and enabling a quicker response to market trends.
For inventory management, the suite's Agentic Inventory Management solution provides continual optimisation for procurement, production, and fulfilment. Using predictive planning technology and trade-off analysis, businesses are able to monitor and adapt inventory levels dynamically, which is designed to support both improved service levels and supply chain resilience.
James Cranfield, Vice President International Supply Chain at Hain Celestial Group, which owns brands such as Ella's Kitchen and Hartley's, is among the early adopters of Agentic Inventory Management. He commented:
Working with Peak is helping us build a smarter, more resilient supply chain. By using Agentic Inventory Management, we're able to anticipate and respond to demand volatility more effectively, ensuring our customers get the products they love while reducing inefficiencies across our operations.
Commercial pricing
Agentic Commercial Pricing is designed to handle all aspects of commercial pricing, from catalogue and list price management to real-time quoting and new bid-response functionality. The solution analyses previous bids and current market data to optimise pricing strategies, with the intention of improving conversion rates and maintaining healthy margins even during volatile periods.
George Foster-Jones, Commercial Finance Director at Speedy, outlined Speedy's application of Peak's latest AI solution:
We've been huge believers in AI to optimise the performance of our operations and commercial activities for several years. Now, with the advances in agentic AI, we can take this even further. Our vision is to have specialised AIs, such as Peak's Agentic Commercial Pricing, working alongside our teams to optimize every price we set. This ensures our customers always get the best possible offer and service from Speedy.
Peak was acquired by UiPath in March 2025 and provides AI-driven solutions for several international brands beyond the initial adopters, with a focus on delivering measurable improvements in revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency through tailored AI applications.
