Nexer Enterprise Applications names new UK managing director

Nexer Enterprise Applications has appointed Martin Burden as UK Managing Director, replacing founder Colin Crow.

The unit operates within the wider Nexer Group and works on business applications services around Microsoft Dynamics. The company describes its UK focus as ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Power Platform work.

Burden previously served as UK Commercial Director at Nexer Enterprise Applications. The company said he worked on commercial strategy and client programmes during his time in that role.

Crow stays with the UK business as Chairman and Company Secretary. Nexer also said Crow has taken on a global strategic position within Nexer Group.

UK priorities

Nexer linked the leadership change to customer demand across several areas. The company highlighted AI strategy, change management, and cyber resilience as priorities in the UK market.

Nexer Enterprise Applications positions itself as a specialist provider in Microsoft business applications. The firm said Burden brings more than 30 years of experience across business applications and consultancy leadership.

The appointment follows other leadership moves in the UK organisation. Nexer previously named Gareth Mitchell-Jones as UK Data & AI Lead.

Group context

Nexer operates internationally and traces its roots to Sweden. The company said it has 2,500 staff across 15 countries.

Nexer forms part of Danir Group, which the company described as a privately held Swedish group with 12,000 employees in 18 countries.

Nexer said it maintains partnerships with platform providers including Microsoft, IBM, and Stibo.

The company has not disclosed further details on Burden's remit, or whether the UK business plans further organisational changes under the new structure.
