London-based digital acceleration firm, Making Science, has announced the appointment of Rodney Perry as the Head of Data and Analytics. Known for specialising in the fields of cloud, AI, and digital transformation, Making Science sees this move as an opportunity to enhance its data consultancy provision and expertise. The data team, which currently comprises 60% of the company, is intended to help clients maximise the potential of their data and digitally transform their business.
Rodney Perry steps into this pivotal position in the UK, tasked with the responsibility of driving digital transformation and app integration. In his new role, he is expected to build a proficient team of analytics consultants, assisting clients in devising strategies to measure, analyse, and activate their data for optimal success. Hands-on experience of over 15 years in the digital and data analytics sphere at companies including iCrossing and Media.Monks, where he successfully led and managed GA4 implementations, will prove invaluable in Perry's latest endeavour.
He will be based in London, and report to Paula Gomez Anaya, Global Data and Ad Tech Director. Speaking about his appointment Perry asserts, "I look forward to leading Making Sciences buoyant UK data team, and helping our clients to better understand and integrate their data, to enable their tech stacks and solutions to work harder. GA4 is often implemented incorrectly; I hope to educate clients to maximise the results from their advertising campaigns."
The hiring of Perry follows the recent launch of innovative Making Science products intended to augment client offerings. These latest products include BrandMax, which boosts the efficiency of branding campaigns using custom bidding technology based on user value, and the introduction of Trust Generative AI in April 2023. The latter is a generative AI platform designed to address two commonly-faced AI challenges - accessing non-public company data and updating information in generative models.
