Kerv launches Guardian Assurance to enhance compliance recording

Today

Kerv Collaboration & Compliance has launched Guardian Assurance, a new solution aimed at improving how regulated organisations manage record-keeping across voice and other communication platforms.

The company works with a significant number of Tier 1 financial institutions and investment brokers and currently provides managed services to over 200,000 regulated users. Its stated focus is on enabling businesses across sectors with high compliance demands to maintain secure, unified communication that includes voice, video, messaging, and social media.

Guardian Assurance is designed to address increasing regulatory scrutiny facing financial services, legal, and other compliance-heavy industries. The platform aims to provide organisations with a proactive and fully managed approach, moving beyond traditional call capture methods. This approach intends to give business controls, compliance, legal, and technology operations teams the oversight needed to manage audit risk, reputational threats, and potential financial penalties related to incomplete or missed recording of communications.

Lifecycle visibility

The Guardian Assurance suite includes components to ensure call recording integrity across the whole recording lifecycle. According to the company, the system verifies not only initial call capture but also the ongoing accuracy and compliance of recordings. The platform is composed of three integrated elements:

CDR Assure allows near real-time reconciliation of call data records with recording metadata, highlighting any missed calls within a specified period so that action can be taken in a timely manner.

Config Assure provides continuous monitoring of recording platform configurations, automatically checking against a reference system and alerting users to any unauthorised changes that could have compliance implications.

Endpoint Assure is responsible for daily checks of endpoint readiness and ongoing audio quality evaluations. It is designed to help organisations identify and address potential issues before they can affect compliance obligations.

The comprehensive solution supports a range of communication tools, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Verint, NICE, and IPC, among others. Guardian Assurance features dashboards tailored to the needs of compliance and operations teams, providing insights that can help organisations demonstrate adherence to regulations at any given time.

Industry context

The launch of Guardian Assurance comes at a time when regulatory bodies are increasing their scrutiny of record-keeping in regulated industries. Missed or incomplete communications recording is recognised as an area of audit risk, with firms facing potential reputational and financial consequences.

"We're seeing increasing pressure on compliance leaders to provide tangible evidence that their recording systems are working, day in and day out. Guardian Assurance does just that, eliminating the guesswork. It's about giving teams real-time insights, clear dashboards, and the tools to prove control over their recording environment."

Kyle Ansari, Chief Technology Officer at Kerv Collaboration & Compliance, made this statement regarding the value of providing visible assurance to compliance professionals.

He further stated: "Missed recordings are not just an operational headache; they create real regulatory exposure. Guardian Assurance gives our clients confidence that every in-scope call is captured, their systems are set up correctly, and endpoints are ready to go before the day even starts. It's a significant step change for compliance leaders."

Kerv Collaboration & Compliance's latest offering aims to help regulated organisations reduce risk and simplify compliance, supporting a complete record-keeping environment in response to evolving sector expectations.
