Infobip appoints Mirta Pađen Lee as Vice President

Infobip has appointed Mirta Pađen Lee as Vice President of People as the company marks its 20th anniversary.

She will lead the group's global People Operations function, overseeing people strategy, organisational development, total rewards, HR operations, leadership enablement and transformation work linked to the company's long-term growth plans and evolving operating model.

Pađen Lee succeeds Marin Bezić, who joined Infobip in 2021 and has served as Vice President of People for the past three years. He played an important role in supporting the company's people and organisational development.

AI shift

The appointment comes amid a broader shift at the Croatia-based communications technology business as it adapts its structure and culture to wider use of artificial intelligence across products, operations and internal workflows.

Management has placed particular emphasis on the people side of that transition, including employee upskilling, organisational agility and changes in how teams work across the business. The role will help support an environment in which adaptability, collaboration and continuous learning become increasingly important across functions.

Founded in 2006, Infobip operates from more than 70 offices worldwide. It describes itself as an AI-first cloud communications business and has been reshaping its internal model as it increases investment in leadership, staff development and AI-related change.

Experienced leadership

Before joining Infobip, Pađen Lee held senior human resources leadership roles at MOL Group and IKEA SEE. Her background includes leadership development, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and HR operations across multiple international markets.

She also holds a CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management and has completed a range of HR, coaching, leadership and business education programmes during her career.

The hire adds experienced HR leadership at a time when many technology companies are rethinking workforce structures, management practices and training needs in response to AI adoption. At Infobip, that process appears closely tied to internal transformation as well as product development.

Organisational transformation

Leadership has framed the change as one that requires cultural and managerial adjustment alongside technical deployment, putting the People function at the centre of how the company manages communication, organisational design and leadership during a period of operational change.

In a statement on the appointment, Pađen Lee pointed to the scale of that task across a global business.
