Hexaware Technologies launches 'Amaze for Modernisation' on AWS Marketplace
Tue, 5th Dec 2023

Hexaware Technologies, the global technology and business process services company, has announced that it has launched its "Amaze for Modernisation" platform into AWS Marketplace, a digital catalogue with thousands of software listings from independent vendors. The "Amaze" transformation engine accelerates the process of application discovery, migration, and modernisation, transitioning them from data centres or computing environments onto Amazon Web Services (AWS). This shift brings about significant cost savings, streamlines operations, enhances availability and scalability, and mitigates technical debt.

Srinivasan Panchapakesan, Corporate Vice President and Global Head of Amaze Business and Cloud Transformation Delivery at Hexaware Technologies, expressed his satisfaction with this milestone, stating "This year-long journey involved numerous technical iterations and rigorous validation by AWS. Integrating our services and implementing metering in AWS Marketplace for seamless automation posed significant challenges. Nevertheless, this milestone stands as a resounding endorsement of Amaze, paving the way for an exciting opportunity to access Amaze through a self-service Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) model in AWS Marketplace." Mr. Panchapakesan added that this accomplishment also serves as a testament to the successful relationship they have with AWS, greatly extending their reach to a global customer base.

"Availability in AWS Marketplace marks a significant leap for Hexaware in offering its customers a robust, cost-optimized, and scalable cloud adoption solution by leveraging AWS services," said Saurabh Rana, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances at Hexaware Technologies. He outlined the benefits for customers, stating that they could easily subscribe to Amaze directly from AWS Marketplace to reduce their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), minimise migration and modernisation risks, simplify complex processes, decrease reliance on App SMEs for functional application insights, and instil IT agility to respond rapidly to changing business needs.

Now available from AWS Marketplace, enterprise customers can subscribe to Amaze's SaaS platform services. These include portfolio assessment, re-platforming, refactoring, and re-architecting to transform their applications of varying complexities to AWS Cloud Managed Services/Containers/Serverless Platforms as self-service models. This offering comes with attractive pricing and built-in limited support.
