Coda has launched a redesigned corporate website for publishers and digital commerce businesses, bringing together product information, pricing and market data in a single online destination.

The overhaul focuses on tools and reference material for business customers assessing expansion across countries, payment options and sales channels. The site now includes more detailed product pages, case studies, white papers and industry analysis, alongside a dedicated pricing section.

Main additions include Market Guides covering 49 markets and Payment Guides covering 94 payment methods worldwide. The market guides outline consumer behaviour, payment preferences and growth opportunities by country, while the payment guides focus on reach, adoption and integration considerations for individual methods.

Coda has also added pricing information to give prospective customers more visibility into standard and custom charging structures, payment method coverage and related commercial terms. The move signals a shift towards publishing more information up front for businesses comparing service providers.

The redesign was built around the needs of Coda's business-to-business audience. While gaming remains central to its operations, the site also reflects its work with companies in entertainment, education and other digital commerce segments.

Its Merchant of Record service is a central feature of the revamped site, alongside the wider set of products it offers to clients seeking to sell directly to consumers or expand into new territories. Merchant of Record providers typically handle functions such as payment processing and related commercial administration on behalf of sellers.

Market focus

The launch highlights the growing importance of local market and payment knowledge in digital commerce. Companies selling digital goods and services often face different consumer payment habits and varying levels of card use, bank transfer adoption and alternative payment uptake from one market to another.

For publishers in gaming and other online sectors, those differences can affect conversion rates and revenue. By placing market and payment reference material on its public site, Coda is aiming to make that information part of the early evaluation process for prospective customers.

Based in Singapore, the company says it has more than 670 employees worldwide, with hubs in Asia and Europe. It works with businesses in gaming, entertainment and technology, and offers products spanning payments, distribution, commerce and rewards.

Its portfolio includes Codapay, which gives merchants access to more than 400 payment methods across more than 80 markets through a single API integration, according to the company. Other products include Coda Webstore for direct-to-consumer storefronts; consumer platforms including Codashop, Recharge.com and Startselect.com; a distribution business; and Giftcloud, a UK-based rewards company.

Broader reach

The website is also due to be made available in Japanese, Chinese and Korean, extending access to some of the new material in languages aligned with key regional digital commerce markets.

Shane Happach, Chief Executive Officer of Coda, outlined the company's view of the market changes behind the redesign.

"Publishers and brands are making decisions across more markets, payment methods and channels than ever. Our job is to bring clarity to that complexity. The new Coda.co provides a sharper view of the commercial opportunities we see and how Coda's products and services help our partners turn that potential into meaningful growth. Gaming remains central to Coda, and the expertise we've built in the industry continues to shape how we help partners grow across digital commerce," said Happach.

The revamp comes as digital merchants face growing pressure to tailor payment mixes and localise online sales journeys to reach customers beyond their home markets. Businesses in sectors such as games, streaming, education and software increasingly rely on combinations of card payments, e-wallets, bank transfers, carrier billing and cash-based methods depending on local norms.

By bringing pricing, market data and payment references together with product information, Coda is seeking to reduce some of the uncertainty around market entry and channel strategy decisions. The redesign also presents a clearer picture of how the company wants to position itself beyond gaming while still using that sector as the anchor of its expertise.

The rebuilt site is designed to make it easier for businesses to evaluate opportunities across markets, payment methods and channels.
