Emergn appoints Aldis Erglis as Chief AI Officer to drive strategy

Tue, 7th Oct 2025

Emergn has appointed Aldis Erglis as its Chief AI Officer to lead the company's strategy and development of artificial intelligence across its operations, products and client services.

This new role formalises Emergn's ongoing engagement with artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions, which it has been developing for global enterprise companies since 2015. Aldis Erglis is tasked with spearheading the company's AI-first strategy, aimed at accelerating the creation of new products and services and embedding AI deeper within the company's consulting offerings.

The company emphasises the appointment as an extension of its commitment to help organisations realise new value streams through AI alongside traditional consulting. Over the past decade, Emergn has sought to assist clients in navigating the complexities and opportunities arising from rapid advancements in AI technology.

Leadership perspectives

"Aldis has been pivotal in shaping our AI-first strategy. With his appointment, we're deepening our commitment to AI as a strategic growth engine that further aligns with our global leadership in the product management space. A successful AI strategy must connect several components, including an organization's product operating model, time to value, customer experience, operational efficiency, and the mindset that strongly influences culture. Aldis understands both the technical and business dimensions needed to lead our next phase of transformation," said Alex Adamopoulos, Emergn Chairman and CEO.

Erglis is known for his work at the intersection of technology and business, having spent over twenty years leading digital transformation projects and technological innovations in multiple sectors. He previously held the role of Vice President of Technology Strategy at Emergn, where his responsibilities included helping clients refine their workflows, implementing digital transformation initiatives, and advancing the use of AI in business processes.

He also led the company's Machine Learning Lab in Latvia, a centre for the creation, testing and experimentation of new technologies.

An expanding AI strategy

Erglis' academic background includes a master's degree in economics and a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from the University of Latvia. He has also contributed to research in data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Erglis said the company's guiding philosophy would play a major role in the next phase of its AI adoption efforts, stating:

"For sixteen years, our Value, Flow, Quality (VFQ) philosophy has guided sustainable transformation for clients. Now, we're scaling AI-driven solutions to empower teams and clients to apply VFQ in new ways and reach new levels of excellence," said Erglis.

Emergn's VFQ philosophy underpins the company's approach to product and service development, focusing on continuous improvement and aligning product operating models with measurable outcomes. The company believes artificial intelligence can further this approach by increasing operational efficiency, reducing time-to-value for new products, and supporting customer engagement across its client base, which includes Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and Global 2000 companies.

Development and operations

The formal creation of the Chief AI Officer position signals an intent by Emergn to build upon past investments in machine learning and artificial intelligence. The company intends to accelerate its development of AI-powered products and solutions for its clients, while also driving internal adoption of AI within its own product management and service delivery disciplines.

Emergn's suite of products includes digital tools and AI-powered guidance designed to help clients shift from a project-based to a product-centred organisational approach. The company's digital product development platform is designed to help teams achieve market fit and deliver quality customer experiences by utilising Emergn's knowledge base and product management frameworks.

With operations spanning North America, Europe, and other global regions, Emergn continues to prioritise the integration of artificial intelligence as a key element of its growth strategy.
