Ecommpay shortlisted for innovation at UK eCommerce Awards
Ecommpay has been shortlisted in two categories at the UK eCommerce Awards for its Graph Analysis tool and Hosted Payment Page solution.
The UK eCommerce Awards recognise and celebrate achievements among online retail platforms, software providers, agencies, and in-house teams that set standards in the industry. Ecommpay's recent developments have led to nominations in the Payment Solutions Technology category for its enhanced Risk Control System, and in the Ecommerce Innovation Award category for its Hosted Payment Page product.
The company's Risk Control System (RCS) was recently strengthened by the addition of Graph Analysis capabilities. According to Ecommpay, this feature allows for advanced analysis of fraud trends and is designed to identify and prevent multiple connected fraudulent activities simultaneously. The company states that this supports its goal of protecting merchants while maintaining high conversion rates for legitimate customers.
The Hosted Payment Page solution, another product launched within the past year, is geared towards facilitating eCommerce payouts, particularly for member-based communities. Ecommpay describes this as a tool that provides businesses with an expedited method to implement payout functionalities, eliminating traditional obstacles associated with such integrations and aiming to bring solutions to market swiftly.
Ecommpay has prioritised improving client security across its payments platform, focusing on embedding anti-fraud protections without adversely affecting merchant or customer experience. The Graph Analysis tool, now part of the company's in-house safeguards, seeks to address increasingly sophisticated fraud patterns in digital commerce.
Industry recognition
Shortlisting for these awards places Ecommpay among a group of companies acknowledged for their technical solutions and product developments.
Max Ryzhov, Chief Product Officer at Ecommpay, said:
"At Ecommpay we are committed to simplifying payments for eCommerce merchants and customers, so it is fantastic to receive a double shortlisting for these industry awards. We are extremely proud of these two new innovations, which help protect customers and deliver a convenient payment solution."
The two nominations include the Payment Solutions Technology category for the company's Graph Analysis feature within its Risk Control System and the Ecommerce Innovation Award for its Hosted Payment Page solution. Both are focused on the objective of making transactions more secure and easier to manage for business clients in the online retail sector.
Focus on secure payments
Ecommpay has built its platform to provide acquiring services globally and locally, offering over 100 payment methods and a single API for payment processing and orchestration. Its approach includes integrating auxiliary functions such as orchestration, open banking, recurring billing, and direct debits, all intended to reduce dependency on external providers and streamline payment operations for client businesses.
The company highlights its compliance credentials, with authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority under the UK's Payment Services regulations, membership in the Mastercard and Visa networks, and Level 1 PCI DSS certification for its platform.
The UK eCommerce Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony in London, with Ecommpay's inclusion on the shortlist marking recognition of its ongoing efforts in the payments technology space.
