CI&T has been elevated to the Preferred tier of Anthropic's Claude Partner Network Services Track, following a recent expansion of the companies' work together.

Three months after joining the programme, CI&T said it had reached the higher partner tier and now has more than 50 projects under way using Anthropic technology. Those projects span sectors including financial services, retail, and consumer goods, and include work for clients such as Stretto and Vanguard.

The projects have focused on software engineering, customer service, and user experience. CI&T also uses Claude Code inside CI&T FLOW, its internal enterprise AI management system, as part of what it describes as a Lean AI delivery model.

The Claude Partner Network is Anthropic's framework for working with services firms that implement Claude for customers. Its Services Track recognises partners that build certified delivery teams, deliver customer use cases, and demonstrate that work through public customer references.

Partnership growth

The new tier signals a closer relationship between the two companies as demand grows among large organisations seeking to move AI projects beyond pilots into broader operational use. The partnership is already active across several markets, with particular emphasis on Latin America and the United States, according to CI&T.

CI&T has been expanding its AI business amid broader corporate spending on generative AI tools, especially in customer operations, software development, and internal workflow automation. Services companies have increasingly sought formal ties with model developers as clients look for help with integration, governance, and deployment.

Anthropic has used its partner network to identify firms that can put its models to work in business settings. For consultancies and technology services providers, higher-tier partner status can signal to clients that delivery teams and reference projects are already in place.

CI&T said the latest step reflects work carried out both internally and with external clients. It described itself as an early adopter of Anthropic's technology in its own operations before extending that experience to customer engagements.

"Evolving to Preferred partner marks a new stage in our partnership with Anthropic and, above all, recognises a journey we have been building in practice across our key markets, particularly in Latin America and United States," said Felipe Demetrio, Global Vice President of Alliances, CI&T.

Internal use

CI&T said its own use of Anthropic tools helped shape its approach to customer delivery. That internal testing gave its teams practical experience with the adoption, integration, and scaling issues companies face when deploying AI systems.

Demetrio expanded on that point. "CI&T itself went through this journey as one of the early adopters putting Anthropic's technologies into practice within its own environment, effectively serving as a 'Client Zero' for the partnership. This hands-on experience allows the company to bring clients not only technical expertise, but concrete learnings on the challenges of adoption, integration, and scale. It's a perspective built from both sides: having lived the transformation internally, and since then, helping other organisations navigate that same path," he said.

CI&T employs more than 8,000 staff it calls AI Builders and operates across 12 countries, according to company information. It works with more than 100 large enterprises and fast-growth clients.

The announcement also points to the growing role of implementation partners in the AI market. While model developers supply the underlying systems, many enterprise users still rely on external advisers and engineering teams to connect those systems to data, workflows, and existing software estates.

That has created an opening for consultancies and digital services groups with established client relationships and industry-specific delivery experience. In sectors such as financial services and consumer goods, deployment work often extends beyond model access to include oversight, workflow redesign, and integration with existing customer and operational systems.

For Anthropic, expanding the number of recognised services partners offers another route into large organisations. For CI&T, the Preferred designation provides formal recognition within that ecosystem after a short period in the network, at a time when it says more than 50 Claude-related projects are already under way.
