Wed, 6th Nov 2024

Chris Huntingford has been appointed as the new Director of AI at ANS, enhancing the company's AI strategy amid its recognition as Microsoft UK Services Partner of the Year 2024.

Huntingford will spearhead ANS's responsible AI Go to Market initiatives, aiming to guide clients in adopting effective data, cloud, and security practices to maximise the impact of AI. His role includes aligning AI strategies with business objectives to foster innovation and achieve effective outcomes. This strategic position supports ANS's goal of leveraging AI solutions, such as Microsoft Copilot, to revolutionise work processes and improve customer experiences.

ANS's recent Business Blockers report indicates that more than a quarter of mid-sized enterprises are investigating AI opportunities. Huntingford's proficiency is anticipated to aid these businesses in successfully adopting AI technologies.

Huntingford joined ANS in November 2022 as the Low Code Lead and Platform Evangelist, advancing to Director of Digital Innovation by October 2023. He has been instrumental in helping businesses embrace new technologies, including AI and low code, alongside implementing security measures.

Richard Thompson, CEO of ANS, expressed his enthusiasm for Huntingford's appointment, stating, "Chris has made a fantastic impact on the company since he first joined us in 2022, and I'm confident this will continue in his new role. AI is everywhere in today's world; businesses that don't remain curious about its capabilities and developments risk falling behind. That's why making sure that organisations of all sizes can access AI and make the most of its benefits is paramount. Chris's move strengthens our ability to provide the support and expertise needed to make this a reality."

Chris Huntingford remarked, "The past few years have already seen AI take most industries by storm, and this isn't going to slow down anytime soon. We're at the beginning of a seismic shift, which is set to transform the working world for the next generation. It's an incredible opportunity, but it also comes with an important level of responsibility. As we move into this new age of AI, it's crucial that we place ethical and safe technology use at the forefront of any digital transformation efforts. This is the only way we can truly unlock AI's full potential in an effective and sustainable way."
