Atos recognised as leader in ISG AI & data services
Atos has been named a Leader in ISG's Advanced Analytics and AI Services 2025 report in both Europe and the United States.
ISG assessed service integrators that work on advanced analytics and artificial intelligence programmes for enterprises. The assessment covered data and business intelligence modernisation. It also covered data governance, security and compliance.
ISG placed Atos in two areas for large companies. These were Data Science and AI Services and Data and Analytics Modernization Services.
AI factory
ISG cited Atos's Polaris AI platform and its AI Factory model. ISG described this as an approach that covers the machine learning lifecycle. The report also referred to autonomous agents for business workflows and a responsible AI readiness assessment.
ISG also referenced Atos work that links AI and internet of things systems. The report described a digital twin framework that uses IoT and sensor data with 3D visualisation. ISG linked this to operational visibility in manufacturing, energy and logistics.
The report also described GenAI accelerators and a prompt toolkit. ISG linked these offerings to large language model application development. It also referred to MLOps and GenOps workflows and how organisations manage operational performance.
Modernisation focus
In data and analytics modernisation, ISG pointed to Atos's work across the data lifecycle. It listed strategy, architecture, engineering, governance, quality, visualisation and operations. The report said this could affect cost, data access and real-time intelligence.
ISG also highlighted governance. The report referenced data management programmes aligned with DAMA governance models. It also referenced policy enforcement, role-based access control and lineage tracking.
ISG said Atos applies AI in compliance monitoring. The report referenced least-privilege access and automated policy-driven governance. It also described regulatory compliance monitoring and how organisations link cybersecurity and risk management.
The report referred to data mesh and data fabric architectures. It also described a "data as a product" approach. ISG linked this to domain-focused data products with federated governance.
The assessment also referenced metadata, lineage and data quality. ISG described cataloguing, lineage visualisation and quality enforcement as elements in Atos's modernisation approach.
Regional view
ISG said Atos has a strong position in Europe and the United States. In Europe, the report highlighted digital twin work that integrates AI and IoT for operational intelligence. In the US, ISG highlighted a structured modernisation approach and MLOps maturity. The report also cited metadata, lineage and data quality management.
ISG's report also pointed to what it described as a structured modernisation architecture. It said Atos uses a unified modernisation blueprint. The report said the blueprint supports faster data onboarding and versioned integration across environments.
ISG also referenced agentic AI, natural language processing and predictive analytics as areas of expertise. It also referenced responsible AI.
