Alteryx & Evisions expand partnership to boost university data
Thu, 10th Jul 2025
Alteryx has announced an extension to its partnership with Evisions, aiming to enhance data analytics capabilities within higher education institutions.
The ongoing collaboration introduces Accelerators, a group of flexible and scalable solutions combining Evisions' reporting solution Argos with Alteryx One's data blending platform. According to the companies, these tools are tailored for colleges and universities to streamline data from various campus systems, offering improved access to information and facilitating more efficient, informed decision-making.
Accelerators deployed
The new suite of Accelerators provides universities with dashboards and workflows designed for particular use cases. They include prebuilt connectors to essential higher education data sources, including Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. This enables data consolidation and actionable insights in a single system for different stakeholders across campus.
"Our collaboration with Alteryx underscores our commitment to innovation and delivering solutions that meet the unique information needs of higher education," said Jim Farrell, Chief Solutions Officer at Evisions. "By integrating with Alteryx, we are equipping institutions with the tools to seamlessly connect legacy systems with modern platforms, automate complex processes, and unlock actionable insights to support institutional success."
The joint solution also reduces the need for lengthy development time by offering out-of-the-box connectivity, thus helping institutions to access relevant information more quickly. This capability is intended to impact critical functions such as enrolment, student advising, and campus operations.
Academic Engagement highlighted
One of the initial solutions introduced is the Academic Engagement Accelerator. This offering has been developed in response to recent data from EDUCAUSE, which found a comparable proportion of Americans report little or no confidence in higher education (32%) as those who expressed strong confidence (36%) in 2024. The Academic Engagement Accelerator enables universities to analyse and visualise data to identify students who may be at risk, improve understanding of the student journey, and help staff provide more targeted support interventions.
The companies emphasise that this approach allows faculty and administrators to act swiftly and adjust strategies sooner, with the goal of positively influencing student outcomes.
Integration and efficiency
The partnership's integration is intended to simplify data management processes. By consolidating disparate data sources, Accelerators offer educators and administrators a comprehensive, unified view of campus operations, supporting informed decisions across multiple departments.
This integration aligns with the increasing need for higher education institutions to adapt to evolving operational challenges and expectations for data-driven strategy.
"Higher education institutions must adapt to challenges and new opportunities," said Steven Birdsall, Chief Revenue Officer at Alteryx. "The ability to analyze and act on data is more critical than ever. Together with Evisions, we are enabling schools to leverage the full power of their data for smarter, faster operations."
Evisions and Alteryx state that the solutions can lead to increased resource efficiency and improved outcomes in an environment where colleges and universities face heightened competition and changing student demands.
The partnership is positioned as a response to longstanding concerns from the sector regarding disparate legacy systems and the imperative for quicker, more accurate decision-making tools. Integrations such as Accelerators aim to create a standardised approach for higher education analytics, with real-time access to dashboards tailored for faculty, staff, and leadership.
Both companies have expressed a shared commitment to supplying the higher education sector with tools that facilitate confident decision-making. The solutions described in this partnership focus on resolving complex data challenges and increasing the capacity for institutions to use data for both operational efficiency and strategic planning.
Alteryx and Evisions continue to work on providing institutions with approaches that address campus-wide needs, aiming to better support staff and faculty as they respond to shifting trends in higher education.
