Akeneo has made three senior leadership appointments across customer success, marketing and its global center of excellence as it sharpens its focus on enterprise customers and AI-driven commerce tools.

Jean Lethuillier has joined as Vice President of Customer Success, Carole Offredo has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer, and Edouard Dewulf has taken the role of Senior Director, Global Centre of Excellence.

The appointments expand Akeneo's leadership team as the company grows its Product Cloud business and places product data more centrally within digital commerce operations.

Chief Executive Officer Romain Fouache said the changes reflect a broader shift in the evolution of online commerce.

"Commerce is entering a new phase, and we are investing now in the people, technology and expertise for Akeneo to lead that change," said Romain Fouache, Chief Executive Officer, Akeneo.

"Our customers are preparing for a world where AI engines and agents play a much greater role in how products are discovered and purchased. Strengthening our global leadership is about helping them make that transition successfully as we massively accelerate Akeneo's pace for what comes next," Fouache said.

Customer focus

Lethuillier most recently served as Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Zoovu. Earlier in her career, she held customer and partner success leadership roles at Sherpa, Cybereason, XING/kununu and Fuze, after starting in consulting at PwC China.

At Akeneo, she will focus on customer outcomes and the company's growing enterprise customer base. Her background includes building post-sales teams tied to retention, expansion and revenue growth.

She linked customer success to broader changes in product discovery and purchasing.

"As AI transforms how products get discovered and purchased, our customer success team has a real opportunity: to turn product data into measurable outcomes for our customers, not just as a post-sale function, but as something that actively drives their growth," said Jean Lethuillier, Vice President of Customer Success, Akeneo.

Marketing and delivery

Offredo joins after a decade at Dataiku, where she helped build and scale the marketing organisation as the company expanded internationally in enterprise AI. At Akeneo, she will oversee marketing as the company brings what it describes as its agentic Product Cloud to enterprise customers.

Dewulf joins from Accenture Song, where he spent seven years leading digital, commerce and Product Experience Management transformation work for large organisations. He has more than 15 years of experience in digital services and has also previously worked with Akeneo from the partner side.

His appointment is intended to strengthen support for enterprise customers through the company's center of excellence and engineering teams.

"Product data is becoming a foundational infrastructure component for the enterprise, particularly as AI changes how products are discovered, managed and brought to market," said Edouard Dewulf, Senior Director, Global Centre of Excellence, Akeneo.

"Our center of excellence and front-line engineers are focused on preparing enterprises for that shift, bringing deep technical and transformation expertise closer to customers so they can build the product data foundations they need for what comes next," Dewulf said.

Recent moves

The leadership changes follow a period of product and corporate activity for Akeneo. The company recently acquired PricingHUB, adding pricing to its broader product data offering, and introduced Agentic Ziggy as part of its Summer 2026 product release.

Akeneo said the acquisition combines product data and pricing as two inputs for product discovery, relevance and conversion. Agentic Ziggy, meanwhile, was introduced as a user interface layer within Akeneo Product Cloud designed to coordinate specialised AI agents across the product data lifecycle.

The company has also highlighted recent analyst recognition. It was ranked the top vendor in the July 2026 Product Information Management Data Quadrant from Info-Tech SoftwareReviews and was named an Exemplary Vendor in the 2026 ISG Buyers Guide reports for both Product Information Management Platforms and Product Experience Management.

Akeneo sells Product Cloud software used by brands, manufacturers, distributors and retailers to manage and govern product information. The company argues that as AI tools play a larger role in search, merchandising and buying journeys, product data is becoming more important to enterprise commerce systems.

Its customer roster includes brands such as Chico's, TaylorMade Golf and Rail Europe.
