Vonage secures National Innovation Award for enhancing guest experience

Vonage, the global cloud communications frontrunner, has secured the National Innovation Award for Guest Experience in the 2023 National Innovation Awards.

Organised by Directors Club United Kingdom, the event has been lauding new technologies and their impacts across customer experience, operational performance, and employee welfare since 2016. Significantly, winners in the Guest Experience category are recognised for invigorating the customer experience in the realm of hospitality through technological advancement.

Vonage clinched the accolade for its fully programmable Communications APIs, which bolster various sectors, including travel and hospitality, by optimising communications amongst guests, employees, and services.

By integrating video, voice, chat, messaging, AI, and verification into existing products, workflows and systems, what results is an improved engagement that ultimately streamlines operations.

A compelling example of Vonage's API is its implementation by travel mobile tool Emburse Go, which tailored a globally scalable SMS solution for user verification and SMS notifications with respect to delays, trip specifications, and booking alterations.

In serving more than 600,000 travellers across 40 countries, the employment of this system led to an increase in app adoption rates by an impressive 70-80%, thereby expanding its global reach substantially in just a few months.
