Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, will be showcasing its latest innovations at the Datacloud Global Congress in Cannes, France, from 4th to 6th June 2024. This prestigious event is recognised as a premier gathering for senior executives in the information and communication technologies sector.

At the congress, Vertiv will present advancements in infrastructure solutions specifically designed for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) applications at stand number 72. The exhibit will offer attendees the opportunity to see Vertiv’s innovations firsthand and engage with technology experts.

Giordano Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv, commented, “Datacloud consistently offers thought-provoking content and attracts attendees eager to learn about advancements in data centre technology. We look forward to showcasing our end-to-end products and solutions that support and enable critical digital infrastructure and AI adoption, highlighting success stories that demonstrate our ability to address unique customer challenges.”

Visitors to Vertiv's stand will have the opportunity to experience the Vertiv XR app and the Virtual Showroom, participate in exclusive virtual reality guided tours, and get hands-on with the latest power and thermal management offerings that support AI applications. The exhibit will also provide a sneak peek into Vertiv's new integrated solutions designed to power and cool a variety of mission-critical AI applications. Vertiv’s comprehensive portfolio and expertise make it a preferred partner for AI chipmakers worldwide.

Vertiv’s participation in the congress includes a series of significant sessions. On 5th June, Albertazzi will join a keynote panel titled “The Future of Data Centres: How are we keeping up with AI and HPC demands?” to discuss AI adoption and HPC market challenges. He will provide key insights on retrofits and new builds, with a focus on power availability as a critical success factor for AI adoption.

Further sessions will include Tarek Ghaoui, portfolio director of Gulf Data Hub (GDH), and Tassos Peppas, regional director for the Middle East, Turkey, and Central Africa (METCA) at Vertiv, talking about energy-efficient data centre solutions on the same day. GDH’s latest project involved integrating architectural and technological elements for a sustainable and energy-efficient facility dedicated to biotechnology and renewable energy. Vertiv’s solutions played a crucial role in increasing overall efficiency and maintaining reliability for this endeavour.

On 6th June, Stefan Nilsson, chief commercial officer of Conapto, along with Andrea Ferro, VP channel for IT & edge applications for EMEA at Vertiv, and Victor Elm, strategic segment and partners director for Northern Europe, will dive into how Vertiv's dynamic grid support has revolutionised data landscape management in Sweden. This project involved updating Conapto’s existing installation to qualify for the Fast Frequency Reserve (FFR) programme, ensuring the system could stabilise the national grid effectively.

The congress will also feature an exclusive Data Centre Networking event on the evening of 5th June, hosted by Vertiv. This event aims to provide networking opportunities and insightful discussions on the latest trends, innovations, and best practices within the industry.

In addition, Vertiv has been shortlisted in three categories for the 2024 Datacloud Global Awards: Excellence in Data Centre Europe and Decarbonisation of Electricity with Conapto, and Excellence in Data Centre Middle East & Africa with Medallion.
