
Thoughtworks appoints new leaders to drive growth strategy
Thoughtworks has announced two new leadership appointments with Gene Reznik serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Global Head of Service Lines, and Steven Yurisich taking the role of Asia Pacific Regional Managing Director.

Gene Reznik will be steering the company's long-term strategy with a focus on harnessing growth opportunities, scaling partnerships, and fostering service offerings that align with socially responsible innovation. His career spans over 30 years, with previous roles at notable companies such as Accenture, Celonis, and C3.ai. His track record includes analysing market dynamics to align the execution of corporate objectives with strategic goals.
Steven Yurisich will oversee Thoughtworks' operations in the Asia Pacific region, concentrating on growth and strategic partnerships. He joins the company with over 25 years of experience in digital transformation across numerous industries. His past role as CEO for Australia and New Zealand at Merkle and senior leadership positions at Accenture across Asia and Europe add to his credentials. Yurisich is recognised for his capabilities in fostering innovation, team empowerment, and delivering client results.
In addition to these leadership positions, Thoughtworks has appointed Ami Kaplan and Michael Carajohn to the Board of Directors of its parent entity, Tasmania Parent. Kaplan, recently retired as a Vice Chair and Senior Partner at Deloitte, brings with her a 40-year career in financial services, while Carajohn, a Principal on the Tech team at Apax Partners, specialises in the technology sector and has vast experience in private equity and corporate governance.
