THG Fulfil partners with Huddled to boost next-day UK delivery
THG Fulfil has entered into a partnership with Huddled, providing fulfilment, courier management and warehouse storage solutions.
Under the terms of the collaboration, THG Fulfil will support Huddled by enabling next-day delivery (NDD) in the United Kingdom with customer order cut-off times extended to 1am, seven days a week.
This development is intended to support Huddled's plans for growth by offering faster turnaround times and scalable warehousing, as well as improved proximity to stock. Migration of stock and fulfilment operations is expected to be completed ahead of the end of the third quarter in 2025.
The partnership also allows Huddled to utilise THG Studios, part of THG Ingenuity, to develop eCommerce solutions. This includes the use of artificial intelligence technology and live presenters to enable more frequent live sales broadcasts.
Company perspectives
Martin Higginson, Executive Chairman of Huddled Group plc, commented: "This partnership represents a step-change in our ability to deliver circular economy solutions at scale. THG Ingenuity's fulfilment capabilities rival Amazon's - something we've aspired to since we started this business. The ability to process orders until 1am for same-day delivery is a dream for any eCommerce retailer."
Tom Killeen, Chief Operating Officer at THG Ingenuity, said: "Partnering with Huddled is a testament to THG Fulfil's world-class fulfilment and courier management solutions. Our collaboration will empower Huddled to deliver a truly market-leading customer experience, optimising their operations whilst leveraging our industry-leading capabilities, including 1 am same-day delivery.
"In addition, their approach to offering sustainable solutions to surplus stock allows us to talk to our clients and offer them a solution to an age-old problem. A solution that reduces waste and maximises efficiency. This is about more than just logistics; it's about leveraging cutting-edge technology to unlock tangible commercial advantages and deliver unparalleled speed and precision."
Technology investment
This announcement follows THG Fulfil's recent investment in automation, with the installation of 430 Libiao T-sorting robots in its Manchester warehouse. The introduction of these automation systems is forecast to raise the facility's operational capacity by approximately 75%.
THG Fulfil is part of THG Ingenuity, which also includes THG Commerce and THG Studios. The division offers fulfilment, courier management, and warehouse storage services to eCommerce businesses.
Huddled is focused on circular economy eCommerce, and the expanded logistics capacity is expected to support a greater volume of order processing and delivery while supporting sustainable business practices by facilitating solutions for surplus stock.
The companies anticipate that the expanded services and technology integration will allow Huddled to improve its customer offering and operational scale in the coming year.
