The IN Group appoints Matt Smith as Managing Director of Technology Transformation & CIO

The IN Group, a leading collective of speciality talent brands, has announced the appointment of industry heavyweight Matt Smith as Managing Director of Technology Transformation and CIO practice for its Investigo and InX brands. The new role will see Smith expanding the company's footprint not just in the UK, but across Europe and beyond. The aim is to connect businesses in need of technological transformation with upper echelon technology leaders.

Matt Smith joined The IN Group as Chief Revenue Officer in 2021. His tenure had him overseeing the growth of group brands such as Investigo, InX, Definia, Caraffi, and Sigma Labs, thus helping The IN Group cement its status as a world-leading talent solutions business that designs truly bespoke solutions for clients. Now as the Managing Director of Technology Transformation and CIO practice, his mission is to construct a global technology eco-system, propelling Investigo and InX to become the most trusted and respected Technology Recruitment and Search businesses in the world, garnering the attention of any technologist or C-Tech leader, no matter their challenge.

Before his journey with The IN Group, Smith had enjoyed a lengthy 23-year stint at Harvey Nash, where he elevated his career from the ground up to CEO of their Technology and CIO business. His leadership spanned across 12 offices in the UK & Ireland, Asia, and Australia.
