The aim is to connect businesses in need of technological transformation with upper echelon technology leaders.

Matt Smith joined The IN Group as Chief Revenue Officer in 2021. His tenure had him overseeing the growth of group brands such as Investigo, InX, Definia, Caraffi, and Sigma Labs, thus helping The IN Group cement its status as a world-leading talent solutions business that designs truly bespoke solutions for clients. Before his journey with The IN Group, Smith had enjoyed a lengthy 23-year stint at Harvey Nash, where he elevated his career from the ground up to CEO of their Technology and CIO business. His leadership spanned across 12 offices in the UK & Ireland, Asia, and Australia.

Commenting on his new position, Matt Smith expressed his anticipation: "The IN Group is truly innovating the field, delivering first-class technology talent solutions driven by its exceptional specialist consultants and client centric approach. Having had oversight over the entire group's services, I feel truly grateful for this new opportunity spearheading technology and transformation at such an exciting time for the group and with so many new tech developments ahead."

On Smith's appointment, Derek Mackenzie, CEO of Investigo, part of The IN Group, voiced his approval: "Matt has a fantastic track record in the tech and transformation field and has been a hugely positive influence on The IN Group since he joined. We’re thrilled that he's taking on this new role and are excited to see the new heights he'll undoubtedly take our Tech & Transformation businesses to."
