Teradata appoints Thomas Schröder as Vice President for Europe

Teradata has announced the appointment of Thomas Schröder as Vice President for Europe. Schröder will be responsible for leading Teradata’s business unit across various European territories, including Central, Western, Southern, and Eastern Europe, as well as the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and Israel.

In his new role, Schröder will oversee the go-to-market strategy, sales, and operations within Europe. Part of his mission will be to assist customers in harnessing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) innovations for greater return on investment (ROI). This will involve working closely with both global and local partners to help organisations across different industries to adopt trusted AI strategies utilising Teradata’s VantageCloud, a comprehensive cloud analytics and data platform for AI.

Schröder has served as Vice President for Central Europe at Teradata since October 2022. With over 20 years of experience in sales and management, he has built a notable career as a leader within the global technology sector. His previous roles include positions at Vodafone Enterprise, Microsoft Germany’s Enterprise and Partner Group, Oracle Hardware Sales, Sun Microsystems, and Philips Business Communications Germany.
