Mon, 15th Apr 2024

Tech Mahindra, a provider of digital transformation, consulting, and business re-engineering solutions and services, has announced a collaborative agreement with Microsoft in launching a unified workbench on Microsoft Fabric. This workbench aims to expedite the adoption of Microsoft Fabric by organisations, simplifying the creation of intricate data workflows.

The workbench leverages Microsoft Fabric, a comprehensive analytics solution tailored for businesses. It encompasses various aspects including data movement, data science, real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The collaboration is designed to integrate Tech Mahindra's Intellectual Properties (IPs) with the capabilities of Microsoft Fabric. Their joint effort aims to accelerate customers’ journey from data to insight and augment business agility.

In addition, the collaboration promises to enhance workflow efficiency, optimise data and automate processes while boosting operational efficiency by 30 to 40%, the company states. This rise in efficiency could substantially reduce the expenses related to conventional data management. Customers will have the advantage of a single dashboard which provides a unified view of enterprise tools and systems, thereby eliminating data silos and enabling better-informed decision-making.

Kunal Purohit, Chief Digital Services Officer, Tech Mahindra, voiced his enthusiasm for the partnership saying, "Our long-standing partnership with Microsoft has been helping enterprises embrace the vast potential of data and AI in the cloud. With innovative solutions like the unified workbench for Microsoft Fabric, we enable customers to accelerate their journey to becoming more data driven in their operating model and more cognitive in their approach to the business."

The collaboration between Tech Mahindra and Microsoft has resulted in a unified workbench that offers an extensive range of features. These include data pipeline creation, data quality as a service, data observability, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The collaboration aims to promote effective utilisation and monetisation of data assets, thereby providing a seamless experience for data scientists, analysts, and business professionals.

Zia Mansoor, Corporate Vice President, Data & AI, Microsoft, praised the joint effort: "Tech Mahindra is delivering innovative services and solutions on Microsoft Azure and Fabric, that will enhance customer experiences, accelerate business transformation and drive growth. Together, with Tech Mahindra, we will help customers take advantage of Microsoft Azure and AI to thrive and achieve success."

The collaboration builds on the Gold-certified Microsoft partnership that Tech Mahindra has held for over 15 years. It frames Tech Mahindra as a trusted partner in the cloud services industry, holding expertise across multiple fields such as analytics, cloud migration initiatives, and endorsement from Microsoft Azure certified cloud architects and data cloud architects.
