Stephanie Hare to headline Women in Cybersecurity event 2024

The esteemed technology ethics researcher, broadcaster, and author Stephanie Hare has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 8th annual Women in Cybersecurity event during Infosecurity Europe 2024. The seminal information security occasion will run from June 4th to June 6th, with Hare's speech taking place on the first day of proceedings, Wednesday the 5th.

The Women in Cybersecurity event has become an unmissable fixture in the conference line-up in its eight years, its popularity necessitating a scale-up to accommodate growing interest and an expanding roster of speakers ready to inspire from centre-stage. This year's iteration will see the spotlighted women share their wisdom from the keynote stage, addressing key issues ranging from the gender pay gap and imposter syndrome to negotiation skills and mentorship.

Her talk will touch upon a range of topics, including AI, data privacy, policy-making, cybersecurity, and historical, political, and contemporary technological elements.

The Women in Cybersecurity event will be headed by Beth Maundrill, Infosecurity Magazine Editor, who will be leading discussions from 15:00-17:30, featuring a keynote by Stephanie Hare and panel discussions with inspirational figures from the industry.
