These range from emerging technology and macro-economic forces to issues of skills and diversity within the sector.
Commenting on her appointment, MacLeod says, "I am truly honoured to join the Cloud Industry Forum as a Director. Cloud technologies have revolutionised the way businesses operate, and I am excited to play a role in CIF's efforts in promoting the benefits and opportunities inherent in further and advanced adoption. I look forward to collaborating with industry leaders to talk about the issues that are most critical to the industry both today and in the future."
David Terrar, CEO of CIF, extended a warm welcome to MacLeod, expressing high hopes for her impact on the organisation's mission. "We are thrilled to have Steph on board as our new Director. Her rich background and extensive knowledge of the cloud industry make her the perfect fit to help propel CIF forward. Steph's proven ability to communicate the imperative and often complex issues the technology sector faces in today's global market will enable us to continue advocating for cloud adoption, support members with compelling thought leadership on the issues of the day and empower businesses to make informed decisions."
Amid these developments, Kaizo has also joined the CIF, reinforcing the agency's commitment to supporting the cloud computing industry. MacLeod's role will focus on issues ranging from emerging tech trends to the challenges posed by macro-economic forces, as well as diversity and skill gaps in the industry.
The addition of MacLeod to the CIF Board highlights the organisation's dedication to driving thought leadership and providing best practices in cloud computing. With her extensive experience in technology PR, MacLeod is ideally positioned to lead CIF in amplifying its initiatives, thereby addressing the complex challenges and opportunities that the future holds for the cloud computing industry.
