SentinelOne & Schwarz Digits launch EU sovereign AI security

Wed, 10th Sep 2025

SentinelOne and Schwarz Digits have announced the launch of a sovereign, AI-powered cybersecurity platform for European organisations.

Strategic partnership

The partnership brings together SentinelOne's AI-powered detection and response capabilities and Schwarz Digits' STACKIT cloud infrastructure to offer a cybersecurity platform designed specifically for European customers. The platform is aimed at organisations seeking to maintain control over their data and security operations in line with EU and German regulatory requirements.

Deployment of SentinelOne's Singularity Platform on STACKIT's Germany-based sovereign cloud allows customer data and telemetry to remain under German jurisdiction. Both companies state that this alliance ensures alignment with security and regulatory standards, including ISO 27001 and C5 certification from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

Rolf Schumann, Co-CEO, Schwarz Digits, said: "In Europe, we must use and further develop cutting-edge technology without giving away our data. Otherwise, we will lose our innovative strength and economic power. The partnership with SentinelOne is the perfect example of how technology openness and data sovereignty can be reconciled."

Enabling compliance

The companies have emphasised the platform's ability to help organisations comply with European requirements such as GDPR, NIS2, and DORA. By hosting the solution within STACKIT's sovereign infrastructure, organisations can adopt AI-powered tools while retaining full control over their data and meeting compliance standards required by the EU and Germany.

Christian Müller, Co-CEO, Schwarz Digits, said: "We provide the secure and compliant infrastructure on which SentinelOne can offer its holistic Cybersecurity suite. This synergy creates tremendous value for the market and strengthens the digital resilience of the European economy and public sector."

AI-powered threat defence

The SentinelOne Singularity Platform applies patented AI and behavioural analysis to detect and respond to threats across endpoints, cloud workloads, identities, and data. This is designed to allow security incidents to be contained and remediated in real time, according to the partners. The platform's Storyline technology is intended to provide context and visibility, with the aim of accelerating investigations and response times.

The platform addresses an expanding attack surface, from endpoint protection (EDR, MDR and XDR), cloud security (CWPP, CNAPP, Exposure Management), and data (AI SIEM, Hyperautomation, GenAI security), to identity (ITDR).

"European customers have long wanted security solutions that combine state-of-the-art protection with full data sovereignty," said Tomer Weingarten, CEO, SentinelOne. "Partnering with Schwarz Digits enables us to meet this demand - giving customers in highly regulated industries the confidence to embrace AI-powered cybersecurity without compromise."

Integrated approach to risk management

The offering will be integrated into Schwarz Digits' broader cybersecurity portfolio, which includes XM Cyber's Continuous Exposure Management platform. The companies state that this combination will offer a unified approach to defence by mapping potential attack paths, identifying risks, and enabling automated remediation, all within a sovereign European cloud environment.

The launch comes as the EU prepares new policy frameworks such as the Cloud and AI Development Act (CAIDA), which seeks to expand secure sovereign EU cloud infrastructure for critical applications. The companies position their platform as ready to address emerging requirements associated with these frameworks, providing organisations with tools to support regulatory compliance and cyber resilience.

Support for public and private sector

Both SentinelOne and Schwarz Digits describe this partnership as a significant step toward greater digital sovereignty and cyber resilience in Europe. The solution will be available to both public and private sector organisations seeking to manage security within the boundaries of European regulatory frameworks.
