Yesterday

RingCentral has been recognised by Frost & Sullivan with the 2025 Global Customer Value Leadership Award for performance in the web events sector and has announced a new pay-per-organiser pricing model for its Events platform.

The Frost & Sullivan award follows a rigorous analysis of the web events industry. RingCentral Events was highlighted for its value-driven approach which aims to make virtual, hybrid, and in-person events engaging, straightforward and affordable for customers. Specific criteria evaluated in the award process included innovative business models, optimised customer journeys and an integration of advanced technology.

Roopam Jain, Vice President of Research for Connected Work at Frost & Sullivan, commented on the award and RingCentral's position in the market. "The rapid evolution of the events market and sheer competitive pressures require solutions that stand out through innovation, flexibility, and customer-centric value. These capabilities, along with a new pay-per-organiser pricing model, show how RingCentral is consistently delivering a comprehensive and flexible event management platform that raises the bar for the industry."

RingCentral Events was launched in 2023 and offers an all-in-one solution with advanced AI integration. Notable features include AI-powered content creation assistance, multilingual event support, a native production studio, and analytics tools designed for planning, hosting and measuring event success.

The platform has reported increasing adoption by a diverse range of customers from several sectors. Current users include Adobe, AWS, HP, HubSpot, Target, NBC Universal, New York University, Harvard's Office for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, Michigan State University, and BDO USA among others. RingCentral states that this adoption has resulted in substantial customer acquisition and bookings growth for the Events platform.

Kristen Koenig, General Manager of Video Solutions and Events at RingCentral, said: "We're extremely proud to receive this distinguished recognition from Frost & Sullivan, reinforcing our approach to delivering maximum value and superior innovation for customers. The award comes at an exciting moment, as we've just launched our transformative new pricing model, further improving affordability, transparency, and flexibility - freeing marketers to focus more energy and resources on creating unforgettable, meaningful events."

The new pay-per-organiser pricing model is designed to address common concerns among event marketers, such as limits on attendee numbers, registration caps, and potential hidden fees. With the updated structure, users are able to host unlimited events and webinars and register as many attendees as required, without facing arbitrary restrictions. This approach is intended to make budgeting and scaling events more straightforward for organisers.

Dahlia El Gazzar, Tech Evangelist and Founder of DAHLIA+Agency, commented on the new pricing structure: "The new pricing structure from RingCentral Events represents a dramatic shift: instead of anxiety over attendee numbers or surprise charges, event planners now have complete strategic freedom. RingCentral is simplifying event management pricing, empowering organisers to deliver creative, engaging event experiences without barriers."

RingCentral is also offering an enhanced 30-day free trial of its Events Enterprise platform, giving organisers access to the full suite of capabilities with no upfront commitment.

The company provides AI-driven business communications solutions across cloud communications, contact centre operations, conversational intelligence, video, and hybrid events, and reports a global customer base of hundreds of thousands of businesses and millions of users.
