Revizto names new chiefs & launches global CIO forum
Revizto has appointed Michael Dorman as Chief Revenue Officer and Marc Schütz as Chief Product Officer, and it has launched a global CIO Advisory Programme that it said will include more than 75 senior technology leaders.
The company positions its software around collaboration for the architecture, engineering, construction and operations sector. Revizto said it has expanded internationally in response to customer demand and it has supported more than 80,000 projects worldwide.
The CIO Advisory Programme covers North America, EMEA and APAC. In the UK, Steven Capper, CDIO at Carnival and formerly at AECOM, will chair the initiative. Revizto also named David Felker, CIO at Trilion and formerly Amazon and AECOM, and Kurt Brissett, CDIO at Built and formerly the Australian Department of Defence and Transport For New South Wales, as regional advisors.
New appointments
Dorman joins from Hexagon and Multivista, which Hexagon acquired. Revizto said he held Vice President commercial roles at those organisations.
Schütz has more than 20 years of experience in product management and development, according to Revizto. The company linked his background to augmented reality and digital transformation in building and industrial engineering. It named Bentley Systems and PTC as previous employers.
Revizto said the appointments align with expansion plans across the US, Europe, the Middle East and APAC. It said it has maintained profitability while growing. Revizto reported 824% growth over the past five years and a 56% year-on-year average over that period.
The company also cited a long-term investment backdrop for infrastructure and construction. Revizto said an estimated $94 trillion is required to support global infrastructure investment by 2040.
Product roadmap
Revizto said Dorman and Schütz will work on the product roadmap. The company described a focus on enterprise scalability, automation and API integrations. It also referenced workflows for project teams and an emphasis on productivity and risk reduction.
Arman Gukasyan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Revizto, commented on the appointments and the company's direction.
"We're not here to follow the industry's pace, we're here to accelerate it. We're delighted to have Marc and Michael join the team as they supercharge our capabilities to support more partners navigating complex schedules, tightening budgets, and tough conditions. We're moving the industry beyond fragmented workflows towards a scalable and connected future," said Arman Gukasyan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Revizto.
CIO advisory
Revizto said the CIO Advisory Programme will run through a series of curated roundtables. It said the sessions will cover topical trends and operational pressures on technology leaders across the sector.
The company said it plans to discuss technology stack optimisation, skills and talent growth, and governance, security and compliance. Revizto also said it expects participants to engage with its senior leaders and feed into its approach to product development.
Gukasyan said the advisory effort would expand into new regions. He also described the company's expectations for the group's activity and outcomes.
"This year we're expanding our CIO program into new regions and welcome experienced leaders in digital transformation to help us to drive meaningful action. Through our advisory program we're leading with action - not just conversation - with a robust peer network that supports change, collaboration, and continued progress across the industry," said Gukasyan.
