Reolink unveils AI-powered ReoNeura & 4K floodlight camera

Wed, 10th Sep 2025

Reolink has announced the launch of two new security products, the ReoNeura AI system and the TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi camera.

The company introduced its advanced ReoNeura system designed to address common challenges in video surveillance, including difficulties in video review, missed security events and the occurrence of false alerts. According to Reolink, ReoNeura enhances both the efficiency and accuracy of security monitoring for domestic and business use.

ReoNeura aims to streamline the process of video review and security oversight. One feature, Smart Detection, enables the identification of people, animals, bikes, vehicles and parcels. Custom zones and schedules can be set, reducing the number of irrelevant alerts. Also introduced is Smart Event Detection (Beta), which can track deliveries and detect when objects appear or disappear, sending alerts for events the user deems most important.

The system also incorporates Video Captioning. This feature automatically generates summaries of security footage using natural language, allowing users to understand the content at a glance without watching through video clips, which can improve both convenience and clarity.

In addition to home security features, ReoNeura includes Customer Flow Analysis designed for small and medium-sized businesses. This aspect of the system counts customer entries and exits, produces a 24-hour heat map to highlight the busiest areas, and issues real-time alerts when zones become crowded. This is intended to provide business owners with clearer insight into their operations and improve the efficiency of their premises management.

The company has stated its intention to expand the availability of these AI features across more of its product lineup. ReoNeura will be accessible through a range of Reolink security cameras, network video recorders and cloud offerings, providing users with a flexible approach to deploying intelligent monitoring where needed.

Floodlight camera

Reolink has also expanded its security camera range with the introduction of the TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi, described as the world's first 4K 360-degree pan-tilt-zoom floodlight camera equipped with local AI Video Search.

This camera offers dual-lens 4K ultra HD resolution, smooth pan and tilt control, and a triple PIR (passive infrared) sensor array. The combination of features allows for comprehensive 360-degree video coverage and 270-degree motion detection, even identifying off-screen movement by rotating to record activity before it enters the main viewing area. With built-in AI Video Search functionality, users can search for and review specific events quickly and efficiently.

TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi includes dual adjustable floodlights capable of supplying up to 3000 lumens of brightness, with selectable colour temperatures ranging from 3000K (warm) to 6000K (cool). This feature intends to provide a balance between visibility, visual appeal and acting as a security deterrent. The camera is now available for pre-order, with a 10% early-bird discount offered to those who subscribe via the company's designated page.

Company perspective

"IFA gives us the perfect stage to show how far we've taken AI in security with ReoNeuraTM," said Simon Buckingham, UK&I Senior Marketing Manager at Reolink. "The real breakthrough with our new TrackFlex floodlight camera is how it brings AI directly into everyday security. Instead of watching hours of footage or relying on alerts that don't matter, people can now search and see exactly what happened in seconds. Pair that with a floodlight camera that covers every angle in 4K, and you have a smarter, more efficient way to protect your home."

Both ReoNeura and TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi form part of Reolink's ongoing strategy to provide more advanced AI and enhanced product design within the smart security sector. The company's updated offerings are intended to address the evolving needs of households and businesses seeking more effective monitoring solutions.
