Pigment & Deloitte team up for AI-driven planning solutions

Yesterday

Pigment, a French business scenario planning platform, has announced a new partnership with Deloitte to advance AI-driven planning solutions.

Since its inception, Pigment has been committed to supporting businesses in making informed strategic decisions through its integrated platform that prepares them for uncertainties in a continually evolving market. The partnership with Deloitte aims to enhance AI capabilities within organisations striving to swiftly and accurately adapt to a dynamic market.

The collaboration plans to integrate Pigment's AI platform with Deloitte's broad experience in business transformation and technology to serve better customers facing industry-specific challenges. Initially, the focus will be on industries experiencing significant transformation, including consumer industries, technology, media and telecommunications, and financial services.

Eléonore Crespo, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Pigment, stated, "In today's landscape, two key challenges stand out for businesses: change is now a constant factor that needs to be addressed, and organisations need to leverage AI effectively. Those that can adapt quickly are significantly better positioned to stay competitive and manage risks, while those that fail to adopt AI risk falling behind their competitors, particularly in terms of their ability to execute quickly, and make informed, effective decisions."

Paul Albert, Partner and Business Finance Lead at Deloitte, commented, "Finance teams face extraordinary challenges when it comes to planning in today's climate, but we've seen real improvements in agility where teams are employing AI in their planning processes. That's why we're excited to add Pigment to our ecosystem of leading technology players in this space. By combining Pigment's modern planning platform and AI capabilities with our industry expertise, we're helping businesses to address some of the biggest issues they face when planning and keep pace with change."

Crespo added, "Over the last two years, many companies have tried themselves to apply GenAI and AI capabilities to business planning and decision-making. What they have found is that it is incredibly difficult to find success when AI is not embedded directly into a software platform. By integrating AI into the core of Pigment, we're able to improve the efficiency, accuracy and speed with which they make business decisions."

Pigment's platform is distinct from traditional planning software because its AI functionalities are embedded natively within its core, as opposed to being add-ons. This allows the platform to offer organisations the tools required to develop flexible, intelligent plans that enhance performance, seize opportunities, and mitigate risks. The partnership with Deloitte, drawing upon its extensive expertise in business transformation, focuses on diagnosing industry-specific challenges.

The collaboration will concentrate initially on sectors undergoing significant transformation, such as consumer industries, technology, media and telecom, and financial services. This focus aims to address the specific needs of these industries as they navigate rapidly changing market dynamics.
