PairSoft has appointed Vijay Vidiyala as Chief Product & Technology Officer to lead its product and engineering teams.

Vidiyala joins the finance software provider with more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software, including senior roles at Model N and SAP.

At PairSoft, he will oversee development of artificial intelligence tools for finance departments, with a focus on software used by the office of the CFO. The products are designed to work within existing enterprise resource planning systems rather than as separate tools.

Before joining PairSoft, Vidiyala led product, engineering and operations teams across the US, Europe and India at Model N, where he also helped shape the company's software-as-a-service transition strategy.

Earlier in his career, he spent a decade at SAP, leading product development and go-to-market work for cloud software.

Vidiyala joins PairSoft's executive team under Chief Executive Officer Brian Rigney. Rigney said the appointment comes as the company expands its use of AI in products for finance teams.

"Vijay is exactly the product and technology leader we need at this point in time," said Brian Rigney, Chief Executive Officer of PairSoft.

"He has spent his career turning deep customer insight into products that win, and he has done it through major shifts like the move to SaaS and the rise of AI. As we continue building AI solutions that streamline finance teams' work so they can focus on building a stronger business, Vijay's experience and customer focus will be invaluable."

AI focus

PairSoft's current finance tools include AI agents that automate parts of accounting workflows inside ERP systems. They are used in accounts payable tasks such as recommending general ledger codes, matching purchase orders with invoices and receipts, extracting invoice data and routing documents for approval.

The software also applies AI to bank reconciliation and transaction coding. PairSoft said the models are designed to learn from user changes over time, with feedback from approvers fed back into the system.

PairSoft's tools work with NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics GP and 365, Sage Intacct, Oracle Financials and other systems that support standard application programming interfaces. Its wider product suite includes APRO, Nimbello, PaperSave and WorkPlace.

In a statement, Vidiyala highlighted the company's position inside customer ERP systems.

"PairSoft has built something rare: an in-depth understanding of how finance teams actually work, paired with a product that lives inside their ERP rather than alongside it," said Vijay Vidiyala, Chief Product & Technology Officer of PairSoft.

"AI is transforming what's possible for the office of the CFO, and I'm excited to turn that potential into solutions that give our customers greater accuracy, connection and visibility they can rely on every day."
