OVHcloud unveils new Qiskit-supported Quantum Notebook
OVHcloud, a European cloud provider, unveiled significant updates to its Quantum Notebooks portfolio at the France Quantum 2024 event. The company announced the addition of a new Quantum Notebook that supports IBM's open-source Qiskit SDK.
The integration of Qiskit into OVHcloud's Quantum Notebooks will enable developers to write software for quantum computers using the Python programming language. This capability includes the creation of algorithms, circuits, and pulses, supporting a variety of quantum computing architectures.
This new Quantum Notebook joins an already impressive lineup of quantum computing tools from OVHcloud, which includes support for frameworks like Alice & Bob, C12, Eviden, Pasqal, and Quandela. Additionally, OVHcloud has been identified as one of IBM's recommended environment solutions following the recent sunset of the IBM Quantum Lab on 15 May 2024.

The Quantum Notebook featuring Qiskit is now available through the OVHcloud Public Cloud universe. This initiative also includes access for startups registered in the OVHcloud Startup Program, allowing them to utilise the Qiskit SDK through the Quantum Notebook. In addition, eligible students can obtain free access to OVHcloud's full spectrum of Quantum Notebooks, including the new Qiskit-supported version.
