Novus Power selects ProScope to support renewable expansion

Yesterday

Novus Power has selected ProScope to manage its operations as it expands rapidly in the renewable energy sector.

Novus Power, a specialist in high-voltage infrastructure, focuses on delivering turnkey solutions across the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of Extra High Voltage substations, as well as Balance of Plant services for renewable energy projects. The company has chosen to use ProScope, a NetSuite-native SuiteApp, as the software foundation for its operational scale-up.

Novus Power's decision to deploy ProScope from the outset reflects a commitment to adopting proven industry practices and technology. Through this approach, the organisation aims to create a consistent operational framework to support both immediate and long-term growth objectives.

Andreas Fritzsche, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Novus Power, stated, "Starting strong was critical. Having experienced ProScope at a previous company, we knew it would give us seamless control over every phase of our projects, from planning to delivery. A single source of truth means better decisions and faster growth."

ProScope will deliver several essential project management capabilities for Novus Power. These include subcontractor management with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) compliance, project-based procurement processes, and tracking of both client and subcontractor retentions. The platform also provides tools for resource scheduling and enables invoicing with support for applications for payment.

To enhance collaboration and document control, ProScope will be integrated with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. This integration is intended to support team communication and ensure that up-to-date project information is accessible across all stakeholders involved in project execution.

Dean Gardner, Managing Director at ProScope, commented, "Novus Power's rapid momentum in the high voltage infrastructure space is a great match for our solution. We're very proud to provide the foundation that will support their vision and future growth."

The combined implementation of NetSuite and ProScope is expected to provide Novus Power with a unified and scalable management system. This system is designed to deliver a single version of project data, enabling more informed, data-driven decision-making and simplifying the management of complex, multi-stage projects—factors considered crucial competitive advantages in the renewable infrastructure market.

Novus Power was founded in 2024 by Andreas Fritzsche, who had previously established a business involved in delivering around 20% of the battery energy storage projects in the UK. After selling his shareholding in the company in 2023, Fritzsche created Novus Power to place a greater focus on high-voltage infrastructure and grid connection services. The company specialises in 132kV grid connections and customer main substations for ground-mounted solar and battery energy storage projects across the UK.

ProScope is developed for complex, project-driven organisations. Designed to extend the capabilities of NetSuite, ProScope offers tools for job costing, resource management, procurement, billing, Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements, and other project-related functions, specifically for industries such as construction, energy, and oil and gas. Its integration with NetSuite aims to ensure consistent project oversight from cost management to project completion.
